    Brothers and proprietors Jim and Joe are adventure travel company operators in Canada and California, and divide their time between guiding in the Himalayas and their 'Bucerias Base Camp' at Aventura Pacifico. Together with site manager Mario, who hails from Argentina and has lived in Mexico for a decade, and Marta, a native 'Buceriana', they do their utmost to make sure Aventura Pacifico is among the most charming and comfortable places to stay in the Puerto Vallarta region, at a great price.

      TAXIS: Fare from PVR airport is approximately $20US one way from the offsite taxi stand, or approximately $25US from inside the airport; drive takes about 20 minutes. Tell taxi driver to go to the Decameron Hotel in Bucerias, a large resort a block from Aventura Pacifico. BUS: You can take a local bus to Bucerias, for about $1US. Cross the foot bridge over the highway at the airport, board a bus that says Bucerias on the window, ask to be let off at the Decameron stop, and follow instructions below to walk to use from the bus stop (3.5 blocks.) DRIVING: Follow Highway 200 north for 10 miles from PVR to Bucerias; turn left at first stop light in Bucerias (Decameron Gate) onto Avenida Las Palmas; continue to the end of the street; turn right on Calle Lazaro Cardenas; turn right again on Calle Fibba; and turn right again on Calle Francisco I.
