3.8 out of 5321 4th corner 5th ave
December 05, 2011
We stayed in the top floor front room at 321 4th street. We could not have been happier with the location. 5th avenue around there is amazing for food and shopping and 7th avenue a few steps further east might be even better. If you don't mind a bit of a walk, Prospect Park is also well worth the visit and your in striking distance of some convenient trains to Manhattan (10 minute walk to either followed by a half hour trip to downtown). The accommodations were clean and comfortable (this coming from some pretty picky folk) but bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper (5th avenue is pretty happening fairly early in the morning). And finally, Marcie and her staff are very friendly!
4.0 out of 5Lovely stay in a lovely inn
June 21, 2011
We were very pleased with everything in our recent weekend stay at the Park Slope Inn. Our top floor room was large by NYC standards and looked out over a lovely treed backyard. Everything was clean. We asked little of the owner, but felt that she would have been available had we needed anything. The only changes we would have liked to have seen would be more desk space for our computer, and a faster internet connection. The neighborhood is delightful with lots of good restaurants, and easy access to the subway. We highly recommended the Park Slope Inn and plan to return.
4.6 out of 5Wonderful find in Park Slope, Brooklyn
June 21, 2011
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Park Slope Inn. The owner, Marcie, was very helpful and the room was quiet, comfortable and cozy. The location was terrific close to subway lines and lots of restaurants as well as a short walk from Prospect Park (helpful local maps and recommendations were provided by Marcie). Of note is that breakfast is not provided, but we were informed of this before we booked the room so we rated the 'Dining' category highly in spite of this. We will definitely return to stay there again.
4.8 out of 5Perfect in Park Slope
May 09, 2011
My wife and I recently entertained friends from Italy and the Park Slope Inn proved to be an ideal choice. My wife and I had the entry level apt and our friends were just down the stairs in the garden apartment with kitchenette. Home cooked italian meals were enjoyed in the garden and Sara was amazed by the squirrels scampering about. On a tree lined residential street with all manner of shops and restrauants just around the corner on 5th and 7th Aves and easy access to several subway stops, PSI is perfect for the independent traveller. Marcie also helped us locate several local music venues which we enjoyed immensely. All of NYC is subway close and PSI gave us a convenient and economical home away from home in a family oriented neighbohood. It was a perfect choice for a magical time. We'll be back.

4.6 out of 5Great place to stay
March 24, 2011
We found the Park Slope Inn on line and, after reading the many positive reviews, booked a room. It turned out to be a great choice of lodging, and we were completely satisfied with our stay there. Our room was clean, bright, and comfortable. Marcie, the innkeeper, was welcoming and very accommodating. The Inn is in a great location, close to restaurants, shops, coffee, and not too far from the subway. We will definitely stay there again and have already recommended it to friends.
3.8 out of 5Just Right!
March 21, 2011
We were visiting family in Park Slope and wanted to be close. We booked 2 rooms (3 adults) and were very pleased with the accomodations. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We were on the third floor of the brownstone and it was very peaceful and homey. Easy check-in with good information provided on local restaurants and car services.
4.2 out of 5two nights at the Park Slope Inn for two families
March 09, 2011
Dining not available. Directly across and down the street from delis and restaurants of different sorts. The Park Slope Inn was perfect for our family which included two small children. The owner was interested in making our stay as comfortable as she could and had provided more than we had expected. All worked well.
5 out of 5Home away from home
December 17, 2010
I stayed in a room at the Center Slope location for a week while looking for an apartment for my daughter who was returning from Europe. The innkeeper was enormously helpful! She is very knowledgeable about the area and is kind and gracious without being intrusive. The Inn itself is wonderful – a lovely brownstone in a somewhat upscale residential neighborhood, it feels more like home than hotel. My room was spotless and inviting. It was an easy and pleasant walk to subway lines that allowed me to get around Brooklyn as well as into Manhattan. The neighborhood itself is enjoyable to walk around with nearby eateries and shops and the nearby park. It was a quiet and pleasing place to stay. Now that my daughter will be living in the same area, this inn will definitely become my home away from home when I come to visit her.
