The Baisley House, a brownstone row house built in 1845 by Charles Baisley in the restrained Greek Revival style, is located on a quiet, tree lined residential block in the historic Carroll Gardens district of Brooklyn. The exterior and interior of the house has been fully restored to it's original 19th century glory, including period antique furnishings and an art collection encompassing three centuries. Carroll Gardens is 7 to 10 minutes to Chinatown and 15 to 20 minutes to midtown, located just across the river from lower Manhattan. Two blocks from the "F" and "G" line subway station at Carroll Street. Smith Street, one block away, is filled with restaurants and shops. In season breakfast is served each morning in the English rose garden and in colder months or inclement weather is served in the formal dining room.

    Via taxi or rental car: Take the Belt Parkway West to the Brooklyn-Queens expressway, exit the Brooklyn-Queens expressway at Atlantic Avenue, turn right onto Atlantic Avenue, continue up Atlantic Avenue to Hoyt Street, turn right onto Hoyt Street and coninue up Hoyt Street to just passed the Sackett Street intersection Baisley Hose is on the right side of Hoyt Street before the next intersection at Union Street. Via Mass transit: Take the Air Train from the terminal to the JFK - Howard Beach subway station, from the station take the "A" train towards Manhattan get off the "A" train at the Jay Street - Borough Hall and change to the "F" train in the direction of Coney Island. Get off the "F" train at the second station which is Carroll Street station, Baisley House is 2 blocks from the Carroll Street Station. JFK Airport is approx. 40 - 45 minutes away. LaGuardia Airport is approx. 30 - 35 minutes away. Newark airport is approx. 1 hour away.

Reservations cancelled or number of nights reduced from day of arrival onwards cancellation penalty is 100% of entire stay reserved.
