Turquoise Barn is a Green Certified, Bed & Breakfast/Retreat located in the Catskills on an organic farm, specializing in organic plant-based, whole food cuisine. Guests can spend the week or weekend in our converted 1800’s artist designed & furnished Carriage House. Each room has a private bath and incredible views. And for the budget minded, a space in our former milk house turned Hostel is also available to rent, or choose “luxury” Camping on the farm. We also offer a variety of healthy plant-based cooking classes & retreats for individuals interested in learning easy & simple ways to incorporate more whole, plant based & wild foods into their diet. Our Gallery/Shop is located on the premises and filled with an eclectic selection of handcrafted furniture, jewelry, art, wood products, and collectibles, as well as local products such as raw honey, beeswax candles & soaps - organic eggs & produce is also available at our farm stand.

Atmosphere is earthy and comfortable. Food is excellent. And the hosts are terrific! Oh and the general atmosphere inside and out are so peaceful.

A really tastey and nutritious morning elixer! Even Kids Love Em..... Recipe varies depending on season. Drink includes fresh fruit and greens blended together in a beautifully delicious smoothie. The fruit masks the flavor of the green and all you taste is delicious sweet fruits. Some of the ingredients used include: banana, apples, mango, papaya, kiwi, grapes and spinach, kale, collards, lettuce, cukes. We serve this with our chia pudding with freshly made in the morning almond/brazil mylk, sprouted buckwheat, fresh fruit, and special toppings or a delicious Jamaican style porridge made with millet & coconut mylk. All ingredients will be organic, from our garden or local when possible.
