5 out of 5Lovely setting, superb service
January 30, 2013
My family stayed in the Kaitlyn and Jillian rooms during our stay at The Roselea. It was the perfect arrangement for staying with children. The children had their own space, and so did we, but we shared a bathroom and had the privacy doors for when we wandered between the two rooms. The breakfast spread was wonderful, and Roselea and Joe are fantastic hosts. I can't say enough good things! We can't wait to come back for our next stay.

My son and I enjoyed our stay very much. The room was very comfortable, the hosts were very pleasant, there were a lot of "extras", and breakfast was wonderful. We will definitely stay there again the next time we are travelling in that part of New York.

July 15, 2012
My New Hampshire friend found this wonderful B&B for us to meet and catch up after not seeing each other for a couple of years. Roselea and Joe own a beautiful home and are extremely generous hosts. I would definitely encourage anyone to stay at the Roselea. The food was delicious, the house was extremely clean and the gardens and grounds were beautiful. They have many facilities that you will enjoy that many B&B’s do not. You won’t be disappointed. We had stayed on the weekend of July 5 & 6th and wandered into Baldwinsville for the fantastic fireworks display. The people in the town are very friendly. We also enjoyed the Beaver Nature Centre as it provided a guided night nature walk for only $3 dollars for parking and it was pretty amazing. There is also a public beach a little drive up to Onieda which provides a great day for any family. It was well worth the drive in from Canada.
4.8 out of 5Graduation Getaway!
May 16, 2012
I stayed at the Roselea with my family following my Master's graduation from Syracuse University. The service was remarkable, the staff superbly friendly, and the best thing by far about our stay was the homemade breakfast every morning (customizable, of course). The facilities were clean and comfortable, and my family and I all marveled about the comfort of the beds, especially. The little extras this facility provides (24 hour complimentary snack bar + fridge, individual AC units in rooms, hot spa, quality toiletries in the bathrooms, etc.) bumped this Bed and Breakfast above and beyond! I will definitely stay here again!

4.4 out of 5Lovely B&B
May 14, 2012
Located northwest of Syracuse, the Roselea Bed and Breakfast is a comfortable, clean B&B in a peaceful rural setting. Roselea and Joe, the hosts, are welcoming and helpful. As a wonderful bonus there is the sweet and gentle kitty Spooky, who, although not allowed in the bedrooms, will help if you miss your pets. I stayed in the Jillian Room, which shares a bath with the Kaitlyn room. The two rooms are accessed through a privacy door, and would be great for a family or friends who want their own rooms. My room was spotless, with windows you can open for fresh air. The bedrooms are on the second floor, so you must be able to climb stairs. There is also a somewhat high step up into the house. Along with the two rooms that share a bath, there is a room with a private bath, which I didn't see as it was occupied. There is a fourth bedroom being remodeled which I understand will also have a private bath. You get a choice of breakfast – a breakfast special or more traditional fare such as eggs, bacon and home fries. There are also some lovely baked goods. Be sure not to order dessert when you are out for supper! Roselea puts out home baking each evening for guests. There is WiFi and it worked on my iPhone (not always the case at B&Bs, I've noticed.) You can also use a computer in the living room. I hope to return.
