Nestled in an historic neighborhood, Tuxill House is your home away from home. Comfort and charm abound in this 1904 Georgian style guest house, just steps from The Seward House. Original details such as inlaid oak floors, quarter-sawn oak paneled entry, window seats and pocket doors lend elegance, while guest rooms Seward, Tubman, Owasco and Edith’s Room are as individual as their namesakes. Each room is decorated with your well-being in mind. Enjoy the ambiance of a small, friendly neighborhood as you sip wine on the front porch. Tuxill House is within walking distance of restaurants, museums and the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival. A short drive will find you in Skaneateles, Aurora, Seneca Falls or on the Finger Lakes wine trails. Proprietors Audrey and Susan live next door and across the street from Tuxill House, close enough to be there if you need us and far enough to allow privacy. Individual rooms are available or take advantage of the whole-house rate for weddings, family reunions and group getaways.
