Lakeside Bed and Breakfast

We had a wonderful "girls" weekend. This is the home I wish I lived in. It was beautiful and Judy was a terrific hostess and friend. Can't wait to come back

I recommend the Lakeside B&B most highly! In fact, we will return when next we visit the area. Judy is a most charming host; she made us feel right at home! Her home is beautiful...Well appointed, immaculate, and very comfortable. Judy made sure our dietary needs were met when providing snacks and breakfast. First class meal served in a beautiful setting.... On the porch overlooking the lake. Can't beat the experience! This is THE place to stay in the Finger Lakes!

I spent a weekend at the Lakeside B&B with two of my girlfriends the first weekend in May. We had such a wonderful time and Judy and Dick were amazing. Judy made us the most amazing breakfasts and gave us wonderful dinner and sightseeing ideas. This was my first time at a B&B and it was great! The B&B itself is very inviting and warm. Thanks again Judy & Dick!!

Lakeside B & B on Owasco Lake is the perfect Finger Lakes' get-away. It is close to nearby cultural, historical, and state parks' attractions. The Lakeside is clean, comfortable, and a lovely home complete with a lovable dog. Breakfasts are delicious and personally catered to your liking.One immediately feels at home in this peaceful lake setting.

Judy was a lovely warm host who made every attempt to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Her home is beautiful! We stayed in the suite which made it very comfortable for our teenagers and offered us privacy.

Very hospitable and they made you feel very comfortable. Beautiful house and yard. Food was wonderful. Loved their dog! I had a very relaxing stay. Good location - easy access to lots of things to do.

My husband and I booked a last minute stay at Lakeside. Judy the owner immediately responded to my e-mail and answered all of my questions. I was nervous about booking at the last minute and not doing much research. Once we arrived all of my concerns were gone. This place is a gem. The house is so beautiful the rooms are comfortable ,spacious and beautifully decorated. The owners are gracious and make you feel at home. The grounds and lake views are breath taking. Every morning you are awaken by the wonderful aroma of fresh baked bread and better yet you can enjoy eating on the lovely wrap around covered porch that overlooks the lake. Thefood is fantastic we loved this place and look forward to staying again.

The private home and garden that houses this B&B business is absolutely lovely. We would have liked more privacy, though. The room we had was well appointed but small, and had only one chair, so the two of us could not sit and chat there easily. While we had full use of the living room and den, Judy (the Innkeeper) was in and out and though friendly, we felt she intruded a bit too much. It was easy to hear talking and conversation through our bedroom door, so we figured they could hear us too. I think our room rate was too high.

An enjoyable and memorable stay for our guests is our goal. We always appreciate an opportunity to learn how to improve! We were sorry that you were dissatisfied with aspects of your stay. Guests routinely enjoy dinner at area restaurants in the early evening when you and your husband were reading and I was doing some computer work just off the living room. We always try to respect privacy and keep the environment quiet and relaxing. Additional details about guest rooms are available upon inquiry. Our room rates reflect the expenses associated with a large home with 150' lakefrontage. We do offer special rates for extended stays and a business rate for weekdays!

What a wonderful stay we had! Everything from the beds to breakfast was excellent! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting and stay. Judy was so welcoming and gracious. She made us feel right at home. I hope we can do it again.

Stumbled across the Lakeside online while looking for a place to meet a friend from Canada. Turned out to be quite a find: great breakfast, friendly atmosphere, wonderful setting on Lake Owasco. My wife and I are planning a visit soon. Only a few rooms, which keeps things quiet, which I prefer for lodging. Spent the day in nearby Skaneateles, another place I hadn't known about and really liked.

We were so lucky to stumble into a stay at Lakeside Bed and Breakfast. We felt as if we were friends instead of guests. The home was so lovely, it looked as if it came out of the pages of a magazine. Sitting right on the lake, unlike so many other B&B's in the area, I could spend hours early in the morning sitting at the waters edge and enjoying my morning coffee and then go into the most delicious, bountiful breakfasts I have ever seen. Judy Freeman, especially, was the most gracious hostess, making sure that all our comforts were attended to. She was very knowledgeable of the area, suggesting places that were simply unexpectedly delightful to visit. If you are looking for a true relaxing get away in the Finger Lakes area, you could never be more pleased than a couple of days at Lakeside Bed & Breakfast. Nelson & Dee, Wellsville PA
