Nice place in a beautiful location, great hospitality

4.2 on October 14, 2015

Sandy has created a beautiful oasis in Amenia. My only wish is that there were more choices for dining during the week.

Innkeeper Response
We're glad you had a nice stay. Many of the higher end restaurants are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Any other day, there are so many great options you'll have a difficult time choosing! So come back and visit us on the weekend soon!

Perfect stay in delicious Amenia.

Unfussy friendly attention to details in beautifully restored light-filled home in quiet location make for ideal base to enjoy Amenia and environs. Sandy cooks delicious pancakes and muffins. Beds and linens and towels all new and comfortable. Amenia has two top restaurants as well, Serevan and Montes. So happy to have found all these wonderful places and people. S&N

Excellent B&B

5 on June 10, 2015

My wife and I stayed there for two nights in June of 2015. Sandy runs a very, very good B&B. Not chichi or country pretentious but well appointed, clean, excellent breakfasts and well located. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for noticing the lack of chichi. I worked hard to avoid it. And thanks so much for the great review! So glad you enjoyed your stay!

Beautiful and comfortable

Hilltop House is exactly as advertised, and Sandy was a lovely, non-intrusive hostess. We so enjoyed eating on her porch and looking out on the beautiful lawn. Was a completely worthwhile experience—and the beds are amazingly comfortable.

Great Place to Stay

4.6 on July 24, 2014

This was our first B&B experience, and it was definitely worth it. The place was very clean and well decorated. Sandy made sure we were comfortable, but also gave us enough privacy, which was important to us. The food was pretty good, as they hide a wide array of bagels, muffins, but also served hot food like eggs, french toast, and bacon. We would definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend it.

Innkeeper Response
Thanks so much for the review! We're glad you enjoyed your first B&B experience!

Innkeeper Response
