Really amazing surroundings and a beautiful B&B. The breakfast spread was unbeatable! Home cooking at it's finest. We would recommend this as a better alternative than any hotel or casino!

    Heaven on Earth!

    September 13, 2010

My husband and our two youngest children spent a weekend staying in the wonderful B&B. This place was a dream come true as it really was like a home away from home, yet everything was taken care of. The rooms were beautifully decorated with varying themes - we stayed in the Beach suite and kids were in the Tahoe suite. Each room had a HUGE private bath with all the amenities. The views are breathtaking from EVERY window in the home - we especially liked the Eagles nest looking on Mt. Rose. The kids played videos games and watched movies while I had a chance to use their gym for two hours - yes I worked out while on vacation. One of the best aspects was our hosts - Martin and Kim! They are like angels making sure we had our every need met. The food was scrumptious with a variety of choices. While you are only a few miles away from restaurants, movie theater and shopping, you'll feel like you're a million miles away from civilization. We'll be back many many times to 'get away' and enjoy. Jennifer & Bret Van Dyne

    Wonderful & Relaxing, Great views

    September 13, 2010

I just wanted to say it was the most relaxing visit we've had to Reno in a long time. Away from traffic, with a terrific view of Mount Rose out the breakfast/dining area. Easy walks for exercise & an easy drive up to Lake Tahoe or Mount Rose for skiing. The rooms are delightful, all different moods, warm & comfortable. Easy access to gambling, dining out & shopping. Excellent area for a relaxed time, great for honey mooning. Very gentle people taking care of things. A different breakfast each morning, plenty of food offered. Highly recommend it for any age couple, with or without children. Frances Logan

Beyond Belief - Views and the Owners

    September 08, 2010

As we prepared for our getaway we were excited as we looked at the images on the website. However, nothing could have truly prepaered us for the immensity of this wonderful B&B. As impressive as it is from the outside, the interior, attention to detail and grandness of it is....well simply breathtaking. While you are taking all of this in, the owners, Kim and Martin McClellan are relaxed, knowledgeable and just down home friendly. Their warmth and charm fills the room and you feel as if you have known them forever the minute you meet them. Then there is the food. Of course the views out of the kitchen (which is the size of my entire home) make it hard to concentrate on the meticulous care Kim puts into every meal. If you want to be pampered and experience a completely different type of B&B, then you deserve to head to The Inn on TImberline. We did and we will be back again and again and again. Total Relaxation

    September 07, 2010

Our stay was awesome! Great location, about halfway between Reno and Tahoe. The quality of construction and attention to every fine detail within this b-n-b will blow your socks off. Kim is an outstanding hostess with mad kitchen skills. Her husband Martin is a great conversationalist, world traveler and very entertaining. Call me relaxed and very happy with our stay. Can't wait to visit again. Brent and Kim Goff
