    1. From Halifax, Yarmouth, Annapolis Valley or Digby take highway 103 and exit at EXIT #10, which is one of the Mahone Bay / Lunenburg exits.

    2. At the stop sign turn right on route 3. To the Retreat proceed through Mahone Bay towards Lunenburg staying on route 3; left of the town monument in Mahone Bay.

    3. About 1/2 way to Lunenburg you will come upon a small diner on your left. It has an outdoor deck and is named "The Old Black Forest Restaurant".

    4. There's a road next to the diner on your left named the Hermans Island Road. Ignore any other references to Hermans Island or Hermans Island Road until you get to the diner. Proceed down Hermans Island Rd. and continue to the water; take a left at the water.

    5. Then, take the 2nd driveway on the left, (135 Hermans Island Rd.), proceed up the drive to the top of the hill passing all the cottages & come to the old farm house at the end of the driveway where the office is located.

      Prince's Inlet Retreat is a small family enterprise. Cancellations as a consequence have an impact on our business. You are asked to be sure of your travel plans before and after booking. Guests should note the arrival and departure dates on their confirmation carefully. If a guest arrives after the date specified or departs before the final day of the reservation, or doesn't arrive, they are responsible for the total cost of the dates reserved. We recommend travel insurance if in any doubt. All summer bookings require a deposit of 50% at time of booking. Cancellations of bookings made 30 days in advance of arrival date will receive a 75% refund. Accommodation deposits for bookings less than a week in July, August and September are non-refundable. Reservations are confirmed by email. Confirmations are sent by conventional mail only by request. Pet Policy, please inquire
