From the moment we arrived Marcel was the most helpful host, his house is beautiful and he knows all the best places to go. We will hopefully be returning one day. Last time we visited we stayed in a hotel but this was far better. Marcel is a legend!

If you want something extra ordinary, you should stay a few night with Marcel in Amsterdam. This 72 years old host, knows all about Amsterdam and still dance at the clubs this city has.

The ‘Balcony Room’ has the nicest view, but you can better ask for a room in the back of the house if you’re a light sleeper. Due to the narrow staircase the guestrooms are less suitable for the disabled. Shopping and sightseeing The location of Marcel's Creative Exchange’s is perfect: right in the centre of bustling Amsterdam, so most places of interest are within walking distance. The Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum and the Modern Art Museum are less than 5 minutes away.
Nothing but Creativity Marcel’s creativity is reflected in every corner of his guesthouse. He gives each room its own unique character, whether it’s with beautiful ceramics, or a surprising design in one of the lavatories.
