Fjordside Lodge is situated 15 minutes north of Bergen centre. Red houses with turfed roof and a beautiful garden enclosed by hedges and unspoilt nature. A panoramic 180 degrees view over the fjords, islands and the surrounding mountains. Enjoy the view and eat breakfast in the backyard or at the top view terrace. Relaxing surroundings with garden, barbeque area, free-range chickens, cats, ducks and farming. Beach, fishing spot and a marina close by. Mooring available on private quay. The childen loves the small beach where they can fin lots of small crabs and fish if the temperature doesn't allow bathing. Apartments: are 55sqm tastefully decorated and fully equipped for 4 people. The bathroom are bright and welcoming with floor heating, shower, toilet, washing machine, towels, hairdryer and soap. The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary for cooking and storage. Coffee maker, kettle, and the most common spices etc. The living room has HD flatscreen TV with most channels, DVD player and a selection of DVD's. Wireless 10MB internet.

Wonderful place, lovely quite, appartaments number B have 70-75 mc with 2 double room, kitchen, bath. garden closed to the fjord. We went in Bergen for 2 days very closed to the Bryggen. Its cool to stay there on a little apartment, but when we returned after a long tour in norway i was so happy of Rita Ripman choice. I am so glad i met this place. Images do not give justice to the place believe me! is a little bit price high but believe me this place deserve to be tried! We took lobsters to a mini market around we got 50% of discount and with 150kr we fully equipped the kitchen that already had coffee, oil,sugar, salt and many feee stuff for the breakfast. well, streo,vhs, dvd, tv, frigo bar. I am still very happy, and i am glad i am writing this review cos i will miss that place. 2 days are just the time to relax. I had the chance to visit fantoft and we were put at 5pm and with reached the church in 20 minute. :) well done this place cos we also went to the fishj marked & aquarium this morning so...this place can perfect if u hate unpersonal hotel.

Drive E39 north to Åsane. From the airport approx. 40 km and from Bergen centre 20km Drive until you pass Hylkje and reach 70 speed limit zone. Turn right to Steinestø. Keep right for 1 minute until the last house on the right side before the quay. You will see a red house with turfed roof and a white arc with no.745. The house is placed on a little top in the end of the cycle lane which also is our arrival.
