This elegantly restored, gracious and comfortable home has seven guestrooms with private baths (one with whirlpool) and central heat and air conditioning. There are three comfortable sitting rooms so guests have plenty of room to spread out and relax.

A stroll through the historic district leads to riverfront shops, antiques stores and casual or fine dining. Tour historic homes, visit museums and galleries or take a horse and carriage ride through the historic district. Some of the Carolina's finest golf and beaches are just 20 minutes away.

    Out there it's bumper to bumper, minute to minute, nose to nose...In here it's heart to heart.  Relax in a two person whirlpool in the Hibiscus room.  In addition to the cozy turret nook with a table for two, this room boasts a whirlpool for two to complement the romantic Victorian setting.  An antique queen-size bed, Victorian loveseat and decorative fireplace provide a tranquil getaway.  Amenities include a CD player and sound-machine.After your adventurous day in historic Wilmington, escape to this cozy retreat nestled on the third floor.
    The formal parlor with a Weaver Pump Organ.A comfortable lounge with TV/VCR and game table.  A computer is also available to guests.
    Read a good book in the garden listening to the waterfall into the fish pond or relax on the hammock.  This view is from the rear second floor porch.The grand entrance welcomes you with original paneling and moldings and period light fixtures.  A grammaphone plays lyrically in the corner.
    The house received an historic plaque in the 1970s. Mr. & Mrs. Worth raised their 5 daughters in the home and it remained in the family through a granddaughter until 1944 when it became a boarding house.  It became a bed and breakfast in 1985.  It is the longest continuously operating bed and breakfast in Wilmington
