      Great,Great,Great,Great Granddaughter of Lorentz Lingle. Lorentz Lingle arrived in America 1752 on the Phoenix. In 1761 he bought 572 acres in Rowan County, NC from the Earl of Granville. September 22, 1763 at the courthouse in Salisbury, Rowan Co, NC, along with 47 other German Pioneers, was naturalized as a British Citizen. 1774, Lorentz donated 16 acres to the German Reformed Church. After 281 years nothing has changed. We love our family, friends, guests and neighbors. God above all.

    Private Hidden Drive with Covered Parking. Enjoy the Chinese Weeping Cherry Trees that sing in the April Winds.Front View of the 2nd and 3rd Floor. Overlooking Historical Downtown Wilkesboro. The Manor is built into the side of the mountain that overlooks both Wilkesboro and North Wilkesboro. Storybook setting with all the privacy of the Country.
    Flagstone Screen Porch extends 1/2 of the Manor. Only 1/4 shown in picture. Sliding glass doors lead to the Game Room, Office and Gift Shop. Antique Fan was salvaged from Historical Hotel in Wilkesboro before closure.Formal Sitting Room and Dining. Mahogany Dining Set from the 1930's shows off a full place china table for four at Breakfast. Formal room is shut off from the rest of the home and can be a nice quiet retreat.
    2nd Floor Bath is to period of the home in 1951. Wall paper and fixtures are original and in mint condition. This is truely a living Museum.Elizabethan Room features 1970's remodel to home. Gold plated fixtures. Large suite with private bath makes the best room available. Enjoy the private entrance and special parking. Private Patio and View. Drift to sleep on this top of the line Sleep Number Bed.
    Relax outside of the Sunroom located on the 2nd Tier lawn. Rose gardens and privacy hedges enclose the property to create a private and very busy wildlife sanctuary.Main Floor Dining. A favorite location to enjoy your Breakfast or Beverage. The large fireplace overlooks this cozy setting. Nothing is more comforting than a crackling fire and a good meal.
