OUTSTANDING Getaway

5 on August 01, 2016

We traveled to North Carolina in June and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Andon Reid Inn. Our room was beautiful, George and Andrea were so sweet, and the town of Waynesville is a hidden gem in NC. We will definitely be back in the near future.

Gorgeous location and spectacular hospitality

5 on May 07, 2016

Before we even walked through the door, we knew we were in for a wonderful stay. George greeted us by the car, helped with the bags, and gave us the grand tour. The house is gorgeous and the views even more so. We stayed in the Blue Ridge Room, the sheets and bed were sublime. Unfortunately, our trip had to be cut short because of an illness but Andrea and George could not have been more warm, welcoming, and sympathetic. My mom greatly enjoyed the delicious breakfast and we cannot wait to return to actually complete our stay, sans illness! I have stayed in many bed and breakfasts, both in the US and abroad, and Andrea & George are among the very best hosts I have ever had.

What a Wonderful Experience

5 on April 25, 2016

My husband and I enjoyed an extended weekend at this Inn recently, and I can't say enough about how wonderful the experience was! The house is beautiful, and the rooms are meant to welcome. The details in decorating are amazing! Andrea and George are incredibly hospitable. Their breakfasts are fantastic, and they are willing to make reasonable adjustments. (One breakfast was a true 'Southern' breakfast with sausage gravy, but when I asked for the breakfast without the gravy...gasp for Southerners!...they were more than happy to accommodate.) I would definitely consider a return visit.

Wonderful time in quite community

5 on April 22, 2016

Andon-Reid is an excellent B&B with many amenities. In case you want to stay in, you can relax on the lawn, play in the game room, or enjoy some chocolate and coffee in the living room. The rooms are clean and quite. George and Andrea were excellent hosts and their breakfasts were amazing. Also, I highly recommend the the Mountain View room where we stayed. The mornings are incredible as you watch the sun rise on the neighboring mountain while enjoying coffee from your room's keurig. April is a beautiful time of year to visit the eastern side of the Great Smoky Mountain Park and the surrounding community which don't suffer from the massive influx of tourists. Also, Asheville and the main entrance to the Smoky Mountain Park are just a short 30-45 minute drive away from the B&B. We will return again to the Andon-Reid.

Wonderful mountain B&B

What a wonderful historical B&B. Gracious host and attentive to every detail. Clean well appointed rooms with romantic charm and fireplaces. Located in the wonderful charming town of Waynesville NC, it is walking distance or minutes in a car from some extraordinary dining. Highly recommend.

This was our third time over the last 8 years to stay here. The B and B is under new ownership now and the service is still second to none. We fully enjoyed our stay with them.

Holiday Getaway

5 on January 21, 2016

My husband and I decided to take a little holiday getaway before the Christmas holiday. We enjoyed every moment of our stay at Andon-Reid Inn. The grand living room gave picturesque views of the Blue Ridge Mointains. Daily homemade sweet treats (coconut macaroons, yellow cake with chocolate icing) were waiting for you when you check in. The rooms were beautifully decorated in the homes style. The mountain room we stayed in had a porch that was perfect for morning coffee from our Keurig and a mountain view! George and Andrea were completely hospitable and met our every need. We were so happy we found the Andon-Reid Inn and can't wait to visit again!

Great for Repeat Stays

5 on January 12, 2016

Stayed here once two years ago. So good then, we came back a second time this December: it did not disappoint! Everything was excellent, the food, things to do, room, host service. Plan on going back again, best B&B me and my wife have ever stayed at.

Great way to start 2016

5 on January 07, 2016

Having Andon-Reid Inn as my first experience at a Bed & Breakfast was one of the best ideas I've had in a long time. George met us when we arrived and immediately made us feel at home. A tour of this beautiful house came next along with a brief history of the property. We stayed in the Magnolia Suite which was located on the 2nd floor. This room was amazing. Amenities as the king sized bed, 2 person Jacuzzi tub to the large enclosed porch made this room 5 stars itself. I highly recommend the Magnolia! Breakfast was served every morning and it exceeded our expectation as well. A game room located on the lower level will keep anyone busy with exercise equipment, various pub style entertainment and a large assortment of board games. The owners were great people who really have a passion for making your stay as amazing as possible. The town of Waynesville is a short walk away and has plenty of shops and restaurants for everyone. Great location. I highly recommend Andon-Reid...

Signature Dish

Miss Ashely's Southern Scramble
Each week Miss Ashley, our Innkeeper, prepares this wonderful variation on biscuits n' gravy. Starting from scratch, Miss Ashley whips up a batch of light cheddar-chive buttermilk biscuits. She tops these with fluffy scrambled egg and then finishes off with her secret recipe creamy, peppery sausage gravy - made with our excellent local Nantahala sausage.
