The Sadye Johnson Room features a queen-sized iron canopy bed, heart-pine floors, and an antique mantel. The contemporary bath has a tub/shower combination (equipped with a Jacuzzi) and a large vanity. This luxurious room is beautifully decorated in taupe and navy paisley Waverly fabrics. An antique rocker,over-stuffed chair and ottoman are very comfortable. A new rollaway bed suitable for a third person is also available for this room if needed. The stained-glass transom features a beautiful blue and red rhodedendron design.
The Sharon Bartholomew Room features an elegant mahogany queen bed with an elaborate canopy and bed steps, a stunning fireplace, a rocking chair, a large wardrobe and other antiques. Climbing into the very high bed is quite an adventure! The stained-glass transom is a dogwood design.
The Bet Rooker bedroom includes a queen bed, large wardrobe, a beautiful walnut vanity, ceiling fan, fireplace and an Edwardian chaise lounge. It is a light and airy room with a unique triple-hung window. It features a stained-glass transom with a cabbage rose design.
The Carter Williams Parlour. A great place for guests to visit, enjoy evening beverages and hors d'oeuvres, and listen to music. Guest love to gather around the piano and sing. Or we can arrange for a pianist or a harpist if you prefer. We also use this room for private plays and dramatic readings. Anyone for "Love Letters" or Shakespearean sonnets?
Pat's Porch. On sunny mornings, breakfast is served here on a large round table with wicker chairs.

The Ivy Bed and Breakfast is an warm and romantic 1903 Victorian home in historic Warrenton, North Carolina, near Lake Gaston and the Kerr Lake reservoir--a few miles from I-85 and I-95, and a short drive from Richmond, VA, Raleigh, NC and Henderson, NC. The Ivy is just a leisurely stroll to quaint downtown antique shops, historic churches and a courthouse square, on Main Street, USA. A full, candlelit breakfast is served on fine china in the elegant dining room and we discuss with you what you would like to eat. The menu can range from traditional Southern to "fancier" fare.

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing and restful "escape" for the weekend! We discovered just that at the Ivy Bed and Breakfast in Warrenton, NC. The owners of the Ivy, Jerry and Ellen, are wonderful hosts! They were both warm and friendly. They made us feel at home in their charming bed and breakfast! Our room was beautiful and inviting! After checking in at the Ivy, we decided to walk downtown and explore the many antique and gift shops. We returned to the Ivy to relax in our comfortable room; and, then, once again chose to walk to downtown Warrenton for dinner. It was a beautiful fall evening, and we had a great time! After a refreshing nights sleep at the Ivy, we had the pleasure of a wonderful breakfast the next morning! Breakfast was fantastic! It was both elegant and very delicious! My husband and I, along with another couple stayed at the Ivy Inn, since it was the closest place to the wedding we were attending. This was an excellent choice, and close to town, in order to meander through the antique shops. This was a quaint Inn with a fantastic, gourmet breakfast. Thank you to Jerry and Ellen for making me, and my friends, feel right at home.

This is a fantastic B&B!! The owners were amazingly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The B&B is beautiful, clean, and well maintained, both inside and out. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in Warrenton, NC because of this B&B! Jerry and Ellen are excellent hosts. I would highly recommend the Ivy.

Ivy B & B is a large and very charming Victorian home in the quaint town of Warrenton, NC. Our hosts were warm and welcoming. The rooms were large and very comfortable. I slept like a baby. Our wonderful breakfast was preceded by coffee on the wrap around porch. All in all a most pleasant stay.

Proceed less than a mile and bear right on NC 1001 until you reach Warrenton (about 12 miles). Turn left on Main Street. Proceed through the business district. The Ivy is located on the left just beyond the Warrenton Presbyterian Church. From Richmond, VA: I-85 South to Exit 233 (US 1). Take US 1 South to Norlina, Turn left onto US 158.
