I usually stay in a hotel when I vacation to places but, I'm glad I chose this establishment; I stayed for 4 nights. The breakfasts were mouth watering and the hospitality was very warm felt. I also appreciated the wealth of knowledge they had of the surrounding area; this allowed me to effectively plan out my day with activities that were worth doing. I will be recommending this it to all me friends and family.

We stayed at the national bank suite and it was everything we asked for. For a romantic getaway, this should be your first option. The large jacuzzi was a plus. We loved it.

Lovely one night stay; nice room overlooking beautiful valley. Room size small but well decorated and accommodating with private bath. Very hospitable inn keepers. Great breakfast! Just what we wanted off the Blue Ridge Parkway.

My husband and I stayed at the Sheriff's Office which is a separate building from the main inn. The view from our front porch was beautiful. The room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The king-size bed was very comfortable. The inn keepers were very helpful and made several suggestions for things to do and places to eat. They even made dinner reservations for us at a local restaurant. We stayed there for two nights and each morning we were delighted with a scrumptious breakfast. We would like to return some day and rent the same room. It is very private and the bed is so comfortable. There is a bunk bed too so you could comfortably sleep four people in the room. We knew ahead of time that we would have to walk up a pretty steep path to get to the main inn but that was not a problem for us. There is a handrail and steps along the path. My only concern was that when the heater turned on intermittently the sound of it woke me up. The heater is right beside the head of the bed. But, because the bed was so comfortable, I was able to fall back asleep.

My family of 4 loved our stay here. The Sherriffs office was a delight for my boys. The details of the room made for a bonus attraction and tied in nicely with our Tweetsie visit. We were comfortable, with plenty of room to spread out and felt right at home. When you visit the mountains the view is a must, and from the front porch we could soak it all in from the rocking chairs. I highly recommend Valle Crucis Bed and Breakfast. The owners made us feel like family.

My wife and I stayed on a Saturday night recently. Beautiful area and house is quite cozy. The owners are very cordial and willing to help out with needs you may have. The breakfast was excellent! Egg casserole, pancakes, incredible bacon (apparently a secret recipe!), sausage, etc. I recommend this b&b and will visit again!

Beautifully kept B&B with postcard views of the mountains and a horse ranch. Lovely mountain drive and within easy driving distance of Boone, Blowing Rock and plenty of other attractions. We loved the rustic decor and gorgeous landscaping. Suzanne was a great hostess. Highly recommended.

Valle Crucis Bed & Breakfast was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a few days in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. The owners/hosts were friendly and most hospitable. Breakfast every morning was a treat, and I felt just like one of the family. The furnishings, linens, towels were in pristine condition, and the inn itself was immaculate. The grounds were lovely and well kept. Although I was very familiar with the area, the hosts were knowledgeable about local attractions, restaurants and events. It was a truly enjoyable stay and I would definitely go back again.
