The people were wonderful, the room was very comfortable, the entire lodge was very nice. I thought the price was a little high, but it is comparable with the other properties in the area, and there was absolutely nothing wrong with the lodge. I loved how they have carved bears and stuffed bears all over the place. Every time you turn around you find another one.

We had an amazing time at Lazy Bear Lodge. Everything was super clean. Anne and Mark were super nice and made us feel right at home the moment we walkws in the door! The view was breath taking and it was close to many attractions with a short drive. We highly recommend Lazy Bear Lodge to all of our friends and family!

Stayed one night in early April. Met at the front door by Bella the Newfoundland and Anne, the innkeeper and hostess. Both were wonderful features of our stay at the B&B. Orientation involves Bella performing a number of her tricks. The lodge is in a private location on the side of a mountain with breathtaking views of Appalachian scenery. The lodge is a spacious, knotty-pine mountain design, eclectically furnished, with many thoughtful details. Our room was immaculate and comfortable with a large bathroom and gas fireplace. Breakfast was excellent. Highest recommendation, but must like dogs. It is pretty hard to avoid contact with a dog the size of Bella.

Beautiful views, beautiful lodge, delicious breakfast, very helpful and friendly owners - Anne recommended restaurants and activities, made reservations for us, and even printed out the directions to each. She was very accommodating with our allergy requirements, modifying the breakfast and snack recipes to remove all offending nuts. :-) It was a rainy and cold day, so we spent much of the day just relaxing in the living room, where we felt perfectly comfortable. Would definitely come again!

We enjoyed the beautiful Garden View room in early February. Mark and Anne were very kind and helpful. Anne made us reservations at a local restaurant and printed directions. She also set up a wonderful couple's massage for us. I would love to visit again!
