This is a great inn ensconced in a beautiful, and whimsical, setting. Our room was lovely. Sitting on the deck watching the birds was a delight!

This is our 3rd visit to Lazy Bear and it only gets better. Their attention to detail is second to none and their hospitality is out of this world. Anne and Mark go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. They are there to answer any questions you may have and are quick to offer outstanding dinner ideas. They are amazing cooks and their specialty stuffed French toast is to die for. We highly recommend a couples massage too! Gorgeous views and a relaxing atmosphere make Lazy Bear awesome! We will be back!

We couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable weekend getaway. Anne helped me find a wonderful restaurant to go to that night and I'd wanted to do a little something extra to make it special and she made dark chocolate covered strawberries for me and provided a delightful champagne to accompany them. The view from the room was outstanding and we loved having our own private balcony to enjoy it from. We loved it there so much we already made reservations to go back in October.

Our stay was as wonderful as the last time. The food at Lazy Bear is excellent. When you stay ask for the stuffed French toast. The rooms are cozy. This was our second stay. The first was in summer. This time we stayed in winter. Both times we found fun things to do in the local area. We highly recommend a stay with Ann and Mark.

The bride and I needed a trip away to celebrate 42 years together. I booked the Lazy Bear from looking around the Boone, NC area on the web. My wife and I get tired of paying $100+ for hotels only to find them not-so-clean and noisy, so I opted for a B&B. We've had better luck with B&Bs, but you can book a dog there also. We found the Lazy Bear clean, quiet and everything we were looking for. The setting is beautiful, stuck on the side of a hill overlooking the valley. It snowed everyday we were there, and we loved it!!! Anne was friendly and helpful in providing us with local attractions and places to visit. Her breakfast meals were outstanding.! We would highly recommend staying at the Lazy Bear!!!!

Lazy Bear was everything we could have asked for and more! The owners both have a servants heart and are there to make your stay as relaxing as possible. The view will take your breath away, tucked back on top of its own mountain side. The food was delicious and their coffee, cookie and brownie bar was amazing too. I can't say enough about this place, it was absolutely amazing.

Anne, Mark, and Bella are so welcoming. Super comfortable beds, on-site spa treatments, and awesome breakfast are just a few of the reasons our stay at The Lazy Bear Lodge was so wonderful. Thank you for a romantic weekend, we will be coming back!

We stayed at Lazy Bear Lodge in the Lost Creek room for 2 wonderful nights mid-week. Driving into town we had some car trouble and when we arrived Anne was so great, helping us get some food in at the Lodge so we wouldn't have to drive the car in the dark and setting us up with someone to look at the car the following day. Our room was beautiful and cozy with gorgeous views of the mountains. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was made-to-order and perfectly cooked. The common areas are just as cozy and well furnished. We really could not have asked for anything more from our stay.We really felt right at home. Anne is a friendly, caring, helpful host who really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
