My husband surprised me with a birthday weekend getaway. We had a wonderful experience. If I could sum it up in one word it would be cozy. The bed, blankets, fireplaces, robes, towels, and surroundings all make you feel at home and amazingly comfortable. We have already recommended Lazy Bear to several people.

Have stayed here many times and always have the same excellent experience. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else, I’m afraid this place has spoiled me. The Breakfast is always amazing; the rooms are always clean, cozy (fireplaces/ Jacuzzi tubs) and so relaxing. The beds are so comfortable you’ll sleep forever if you want to. There is a huge deck with a wonderful mtn view where you can sit for hours drinking coffee. You can spend all day just sitting by the fire place in the main room it’s so peaceful. Every time I go there I wish I could stay longer. Anne and Mark are so accommodating everything from getting you set up with dinner plans, local attractions, restaurants and directions. After you stay there you’ll feel like they are old friends you’ve known forever. Can’t wait to go back...
