I only stayed one night, having stayed two nights elsewhere. If I had the trip to do over, I would stay at the kerr house all three nights. The innkeepers made me feel right at home. I was offered help with my bags, given the wifi password, given keys to the doors and asked what time I wanted breakfast within 15 minutes of arrival. I was shown a mini fridge full of beverages and a box full of snacks. The room was very comfortable, the decor is beautiful, the bed was great and i love ceiling fans. The breakfast was wonderful, green tea, orange juice, sausage, fresh fruit, yogurt, scones, biscotti, and a wonderful omelet. I read the morning paper while listening to big band music. I cant wait to go back. Ill never stay in a micro tel again.

This is a great B&B. Pam and John are outstanding hosts. They made one of the best breakfasts we've had in a long time. They provided the perfect balance between taking care of and being responsive to our needs while allowing us to have our privacy. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the front porch is an awesome spot to have a cup of coffee / read the paper. The location of their home is also within easy walking distance to downtown Statesville which has a neat mix of art/antique shops and restaurants.
