George and Gretchen are an amazing and welcoming couple. The house is a dream as well as the house's environment. Breakfast is fresh and delicious, save some time to talk to George about the city's history. I hope to be back soon!

Staying at the Woodburn Cottage was a totally unexpected fantastic experience! The hosts were very friendly, hospitable, interesting and well-traveled! The suite with jacuzzi was very inviting and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and not something you find anywhere. In fact, if the innkeepers just had a breakfast restaurant, the lines would be long to get in! Superb weekend! Would definitely return!

An excellent stay in this beautiful cottage. George and Gretchen is an adorable couple. The location of the cottage is also attractive, not to fare form town, next to some shopping/dining area and very important in a green and quiet place. The breakfast is very well served and different every day. A refrence place in Raleigh. April 2011

As promised, I came back to Woodburn Cottage and earlier than I'd expected. The charm quiet and corn pancakes lured me back as well as the experience of being cared for well. Thank you again for this home away from home.
