4.6 out of 5OMG-this place is fantastic!
August 02, 2010
We did a spontaneous trip and somehow we were able to get a room in peak season. This place is WONDERFUL!! Everything exceeded our expectations. The location, staff, room, ambiance was just what we needed but didn't expect. Having never stayed in a B&B I was concerned but now I am convinced this is the way to go. We were in the Harbor room...lots of space and very private.

4.4 out of 5Corporate Sales Getaway Weekend!
June 26, 2009
Our company hosted our Sales dept.'s big getaway weekend at the Castle. It was a huge success! Everything from the ferry ride to the restaurants to our accommodations at the Castle was just wonderful. My room opened to a common area with a private little screened-in porch tucked in under a roof eave that was perfect for some quiet time and reading. Breakfast truly was outstanding. No one had to move their cars once we got there--we just rode the bikes (provided) everywhere! (There are a couple of good stories we still laugh about regarding bike riding in the dark following a long evening at Howard's Pub!) Sunday morning we all drove on the beach to surf fish for a few hours before catching the ferry back to reality. We loved the Castle and Ocracoke!
