we have been back home from The Peacock Inn for 2 weeks and we are already planning on how we can get back. We were over there visiting our family and decided on the Peacock as it was close to all our family. How pleased were we that the decision had been made. The Peacock Inn was the most beautiful place that we have stayed, everyone who works there made us feel welcome and made sure that we were happy. Martha and Mike were not just the owners but we came to regard them as friends. The rooms are gorgeous and lavish but still comfortable, they have the right blend. The food was out of this world and my do we like our food. I hope that whenever our children marry they would come here as nothing would be too much trouble. Thankyou to you all. Love Diane,Mark, Beth and Lewis.

What a fantastic place. myself, husband, daughter , son in law, 16year old grandaughter, and 12 year old grandson came from England to stay at the Peacock for 10 nights. Martha and Mike the owners are the nicest people you could ever wish to meet, nothing was to much trouble and they go far beyond what you would expect of a B and B, Terry the chef is superb, we ate like Lords. Every member of Marthas staff are lovely,'especially Dreamer ',Terry and Dennis B . We all enjoyed roaming around the farm looking at the animals as well. I could have stayed with Martha and Mike forever, the house is so beautiful, the rooms are splendid and so elegant,It is just a piece of Heaven. Phyllis + family, England ,

We live in NJ and our daughter lives in NC she was getting married and wanted the wedding down there. My wife and daughter found the Inn I will admit I was unsure until I arrived. We were there for 4 days and they hosted the wedding in there hall everything was outstanding. Food rooms people you could not ask for more. My daughter had her dream wedding my wife was happy and what else can the father of the bride ask for. Martha and Mike your the best thank you for making my daughters dream come true. Last but far from least you can not get a better value for your dollar.

The BEST of all worlds at a fraction of the price!!! Rich with old world history and charm, exquisitely elegant design and decor, modern amenities, with the comfort and feeling of being at home. It simply doesn't get any better than this. I've traveled with my job over the last 15 years and have stayed at The Homestead, The Greenbrier, and the Mandarin Oriental many times and The Peacock Inn has the best features of them all, and more. Every morning we took my 6 year old daughter down to the chicken coupe to gather her own eggs for breakfast and she got to help cook them. She also got to feed Henry, the Peacock, and pet the horses, goats, and donkey. She is an animal lover and this was paradise. This is the only place where you can get all of the luxury of The Greenbrier, the elegance of The Homestead, the modern amenities of The Mandarin Oriental, and the down to earth charm of being at home on the farm...for the same price of most hotel rooms. The event facilities are superb, the food is outstanding, the service is wonderful, and the people feel like family. We had a family member's wedding there and most of us stayed there last weekend and it was better than I could have ever imagined. Martha is such a sweetheart!!! I can't wait to return.

From the well designed rooms to the upscale bedding this was by far the best B&B we have ever visited. Every room has a private bath complete with shower and bath, double vanities, and deluxe linens. The rooms all have wi-fi and ethernet and large plasma HDTV complete with a setting area and plush bedding. The breakfast is cooked to order so there is no rush to jump out of bed before the breakfast hours are over and with an onsite chef your sure to find plenty to eat. The 40 acre farm has many neat gardens and nature walks in the woods by a roaring creek with plenty of bird watching and other animals on the farm. We travel with our horses so it was great to find a place to board them with us and also have trails and jump trails to ride on. This is a MUST visit for your next vacation........
