Much of the acreage is wooded with country gardens of roses, flowers, herbs, vegetables and fruits surrounding the house. The bedrooms are furnished with family antiques, ironed linens and cut flowers from the garden (something is in bloom every day of the year!)
The property was designated in 1999 as a Back Yard Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation.
