Serenity and quiet comfort await you at 803 Elizabeth Bed and Breakfast. The five acres of woods and gardens are located just 12 miles SE from downtown Charlotte. 803 Elizabeth provides a quiet respite with welcoming, congenial innkeepers who provide a quiet and relaxed informal atmosphere for a tranquil stay. Much of the acreage is wooded with country gardens of roses, flowers, herbs, vegetables and fruits surrounding the house. The bedrooms are furnished with family antiques, ironed linens and cut flowers from the garden...something is in bloom every day of the year! The property was designated in 1999 as a Back Yard Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation.

FIVE STARS!!!!! Actually Six. Everything you have always wanted in a B and B and more. Charming rooms, friendly atmosphere, extraordinary concierge by owners Martha and Will, gourmet breakfasts and a delightful afternoon welcoming tea, and VERY ROMANTIC. If you arrived at 803 Elizabeth blindfolded, you would never guess you were only blocks away from one of the busiest roads and busiest areas of town! Surrounded by hundreds of trees, the B&B is nestled in the middle of Will and Martha's well loved and well tended gardens and pathways. Your tour guide, Erna the cat, will make sure you see all of the unique notables along the way. The rooms are very private, but in a "homey" way...you truly are a guest in their home. Breakfast was a true delight...from the homemade granola and fruit, to the fritatta and homemade jam for the Pumpernickel bread. Not to mention the engaging conversation with the Innkeepers...it felt as though we had known one another forever! Thank you, Will and Martha, for making our stay on our wedding night more magical than ever!! We will definitely be return guests!!

What a haven for weary travellers! Martha and Will are the perfect hosts - attentive, friendly & helpful without hovering. The house and rooms are so comfortable and breakfast was fantastic. The grounds and gardens are just beautiful and offer a wonderful respite from the stresses of travelling. We'll certainly return to 803 Elizabeth B&B the next time we're in the Charlotte area.

Although we were there only one night, we enjoyed 803 Elizabeth enormously. Our room: quiet, clean and comfortable. Breakfast: wholesome, tasty. Bathroom: clean. And if you like cats, Martha has a black feline who wants to be your best friend while you're there. And if you don't like cats, know that the cats are absolutely outdoors and you'll only see them when you step outside. Nice place, nice people.
