Brooksong was built in 2003 with our guests' comfort in mind. With its large open spaces, comfortable gathering places, and decks and porches, there are many ways to enjoy Brooksong. You will especially enjoy an elegant and abundant breakfast served in the dining room by candlelight. With colors of sage and dusty lilac, Amanda's Room reflects the refined good taste, genteel charm and an appreciation for the finer things in life, just as the daughter who inspired this room. A king-sized bed, fireplace, it's own heating and air-conditioning, and cable TV make this a very comfortable room.
Amanda's Room also contains a large sitting area and opens to a second story veranda offering a beautiful view of the mountains and Jonathan Creek. The separate bathroom offers a two-person whirlpool tub and separate shower. The rate for Amanda's Room, including breakfast, is $160 per night.
Romantic and sweet, like it's inspiraton, Ericka's Room is a rose and white dream, perfect for the bride of four hours or forty years. The see-through fireplace between the two-person whirlpool tub and the bedroom casts a warm glow on both. With colors of burgandy and cream, and magnolias over the fireplace, Julie's Room is a Victorian delight. When you step through the door of this elegant suite, you'll feel as though you've entered a fine old New Orleans hotel. This room opens to the veranda and has a queen-sized bed, a fireplace, a single-person whirlpool tub with separate shower, cable TV, and its own heating and air conditioning. A refrigerator stocked with soft drinks is also included. The rate for Julie's Room, including breakfast, is $145 per night.
In keeping with the quiet understated elegance of its namesake, Lisa Ann's Room is as welcoming and beautiful as the parlor of a fine Victorian home. The classic colors of french blue and cream create the perfect restful retreat. This room has a queen-sized bed, cable TV and its own heating and air-conditioning. Melissa and her room are filled with the easy southern elegance reflected in the refreshing colors of sage and moss. A garden gate for your bed entwined with ivy and hung with mosquito netting, just for fun, make this a unique and comfortable setting. Melissa's Room is accented with shells and tropical touches that hint of her home near the sea. A stay in this room is as soothing as a slow summer walk in a field of daisies. Melissa's Room has a queen-sized bed, fireplace, it's own heating and air-conditioning, and cable TV. The private bath has a two-person whirlpool tub and separate shower. Brooksong, built in 2003 with our guests' privacy and comfort in mind, sits on rushing Jonathan Creek in the heart of scenic Maggie Valley, North Carolina. The accommodations are awesome but they are surpassed by the outstanding service provided by Cletus and Betty. We have adopted them into our family and we consider them close friends after only one visit. However, we have stayed there a total of 8 or 9 times as of the writing of this review. We were one of their first customers after opening the inn several years ago. We have gone at least once a year on our anniversary and other stays as well. We love the scenery in the area and there is plenty to do. You will not be disappointed! Oh, I almost forgot, the breakfasts are out of this world. Doug & Mary
