The always breezy porch wraps around the building and allows a lush view of the property and Satulah Mountain. Sitting high on a hillside above the business district, this is a great place from which to feel like you're really in the moutains...and one reason to stay off Main Street! The Harris Room with king bed, private bath. Named for neighbor/artist Lucien Harris (grandson of Joel Chandler Harris) whose work is displayed in the room.
The Audubon Room with king bed and private bath looks out on a magnificent view of Satulah Mountain from the second floor. After your day's adventure, soothe your spirit with a view of Satulah Mountain from a rocker or swing and enjoy afternoon refreshments.
A classic bed and breakfast accommodation, The Master Bedroom offers the warmth of knotty pine and the romance of a queen canopy bed surrounded by a floral hydrangea print in pinks, blues, and greens. This large room has it all with a mountain view, comfortable rockers, Cable TV, private bath, and dressing room. The Queen Suite offers a bedroom with queen bed, and separate sitting room with second floor view of Satulah Mountain, a double dressing room, and (surprise!)two his-and-hers baths.
The Queen Suite sitting room has a second bath and a mountain view. It's connected to the bedroom by a dressing room. The sofa bed can be made up with extra layers for a comfortable night's sleep. The best deal in Highlands! The Bargain Basement (not really a basement but in a separate guest house building next to the Inn) is named in memory of The Bargain Basement in Atlanta's Richs Department store where you could find an truly good buy.
At Miss Rebecca's Cottage a sunny living room looks out on a rock garden. Around the corner is a stone fireplace with another seating area, a dining area with a pine farmer's table and a full kitchen. All are part of the great room from which open three bedrooms (two queens and two twins) and two baths. A cozy but open and spacious floor plan makes this great for honeymoons or family groups. Sleeps two - six. Call for special seasonal rates.Miss Rebecca's Cottage is a separate property owned by the Innkeepers located in-town but secluded next to a hiking trail, a nature preserve and 1/3 mile from the center of the shopping on Main St. With 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, stone fireplace, full kitchen and heiloom antiques, it is perfect for a private couple's getaway or a family.
