Rooms were smaller than they appeared in the pictures, but the innkeepers were delightful and the food was amazing! Thanks!

Outstanding B & B

4.0 on January 08, 2016

Melange delivers an exceptional value in an exceptionally lovely property! The room was spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable.Breakfast was outstanding in every sense of the word! Best coffee that I've had in a long time, and the most creative breakfast recipes served in elegant style. (We love nice china!!) Our hosts were gracious and went out of their way to make us feel at home.Having run a B & B in Columbus, Ohio we understand what it takes to run an outstanding Inn. The only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer! We highly recommend The Melange Bed and Breakfast and we certainly stay there again! Al & Allen

Third stay and we love it!

4.8 on November 01, 2015

We had a marvelous stay at Melange B&B in August. It was our third visit and just as we remembered, it was very peaceful and beautiful. Mehmet and Lale were wonderful hosts and so interesting to interact with. Breakfasts were absolutely the best! Thanks for a great time, Mehmet and Lale. We do plan to return. Tom and Diane

Outstanding Bed and Breakfast. This was the highlight of our visit to Hendersonville

5 on August 18, 2015

This was our first visit to the Melange and we had a wonderful experience. We stayed in the Emerald room, a very comfortable second floor room with an adjoining outside patio. It was especially relaxing sitting out on the patio in the evening, reading and talking. This patio is large enough to enable guests who might want to join you after a dinner party to sit and visit. Of course, as advertised, the breakfasts were a big highlight. They were delicious and elegant. Each day a specialty course was served, and in each case they were a presentation worthy of Gourmet magazine. Of all these experiences, however, the one experience that stood out above all others was the genuine hospitality that was shown us by Mehmet, Lale and their staff. It was truly outstanding. Also, they were extremely helpful in giving us directions and recommendations on tourist attractions in the area.

5 star accommodations

Everything that you would want in a 5 star B&B. Room-charming, and beautifully decorated. Staff-accomodating, attentive and most gracious. Breakfast-first rate and delicious. If you want wonderful accommodations in a great town, look no further.

Anniversary getaway

4.8 on April 30, 2015

The Inn was fabulous and filled with fascinating items from all over the world! We had an unforgettable experience: a quiet and elegant time together for our 50th wedding anniversary. The service was far beyond our experience elsewhere! This is the best kept secret in Western North Carolina. Don and Zilla

Truly exceptional

5 on March 31, 2015

Our stay in the new Azeala Suite was beyond what we had hoped for. Gorgeous atmosphere that is modern and updated. So far the best B&B we have visited yet. You can rest assured they will provide top notch service and complete comfort. Nothing is overlooked here, from the food to the cleanliness. Friendly and welcoming place, perfect for a getaway. Good place to feel spoiled and pampered! - thanks from, Ashley and Logan

Wonderful place to stay!

This is our fourth time staying at Melange. We love the whole experience and atmosphere. Lale and Mehmet are very personable and make you feel at home. We usually stay in the Emerald room because we enjoy the Jacuzzi tub and fireplace. The breakfast is wonderful.

A Valentine's weekend get-a-way

About the innkeepers

Lale and Mehmet were born and raised in Turkey. She assumed the family business, he attended to graduate school at LSU followed by posts with an international US company; the last stop of his career was from Germany to Hendersonville. The dream that would become Melange began in 1998 when he went to culinary school. The vision was to create something distinctly their own, a labor of love that would become an experience rich with elegant interpretation of old world sophistication.
