Cindy and Mike are the most amazing people in the world. Their Inn is beautiful and I was treated like a princess the whole time, every time I visit!

The renovated home is large and beautiful--very well decorated and appointed. Our hosts, Cindy and Mike Baer, were gracious and welcoming. Our room was large, lovely and very comfortable. Common area off kitchen has wine, beer, water and soda with snacks. We watched late night TV in the parlor while snacking on ice cream and cookies. Breakfast was tasty and satisfying. Definitely plan to spend some time on the fantastic wrap-around porch which stretches around 3 sides of the home. Grab a book off the book shelves, enjoy the rocking chairs and the breeze and let the world go by. Parking area is convenient. Hendersonville is a lovely little town with lots to do including the nearby Flatrock Playhouse. This is one of the top B&B's we've visited and we will definitely return.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Elizabeth Leigh Inn and had a Wonderful experience. The rooms were incredibly beautiful and the grounds were inviting and relaxing! We highly recommend this B and B. It will be an experience you never forget!

I spent three days at the Inn in June 2011 on a combination business/pleasure trip. This is a great place. The grounds are spacious with two patios and a large covered porch where I often met with my associates (or had breakfast). The complementary wine bar was a nice touch, as were the tasty snacks. The rooms and bathrooms were absolutely immaculate - no grungy grout or funky bedspread smells, etc. I did have the opportunity to chat at some length with the innkeepers and proprietors, Cindy and Mike Baer. They were most gracious and hospitable hosts (and very interesting people). Apparently Mike is a successful businessman who travels a bit, so I get the impression the service delivery combines his experience of what travelers want with her hospitality and sense of decorum. I'm not a big breakfast eater, but they were also excellent. The home has a high-speed wireless connection and flat panel cable TV in the bedrooms (at least in mine), so don't let the fact that the home is on the historical registry fool you to thinking that it's low tech. However, the technology does not detract from the "Old South" ambiance of the property... Downtown Hendersonville is walking distance (about 800 yards or so), so its conveniently located to the restaurants and shops. All in all - a great experience.

This was the first time we have stayed in a B&B and were not sure what to expect. It was a great experience and they were great hosts. We enjoyed interacting with the other guests that were there while we were there. This is a great place to stay.

My husband and I have stayed at many B and B's, but this is the best ever. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable, which isn't always the case in older homes. My daughter and I vacationed together in North Carolina a few days before she went away to a sleep-away camp, and vacationed here. The home is meticulously kept; no small detail is left unchecked by our warm, friendly innkeeper. The breakfasts were a delight, with fresh seasonal fruit (her own canned jams) and otherwise excellent cooking. The bed was extremely comforting...hard to get out of in the morning. I will be staying here again and again, as I find ways of making my way back to North Carolina!

Six of us thoroughly enjoyed Memorial Day weekend at the Elizabeth Leigh B&B. It, by far, exceeded our expectations. The service and food were outstanding. The rooms were nicely appointed, clean and linens were top quality. We'll definitly plan a return trip. It is conveniently located to the downtown area.

Found this wonderful B&B last summer- the decor is exceptional, it's completely renovated so has central air, nice bathrooms, and all the comforts of home. The breakfasts are wonderful and access to a variety of drinks and snacks is always available. Our son discovered a number of games under the large screen state of the art television in the living room and we had the best time playing shutes and ladders- even though we were all a little old to be playing that game- just like old times. We're looking forward to playing Hendersonopoly on our next trip. Great wrap aroun porch!

My mom and I stayed at this lovely bed and breakfast for only one night, and I wish we could have stayed for a week! The rooms, especially the Rose Room in which we stayed, are beautifully decorated, welcoming, and metiously cleaned. Our breafast was delicious, and the lovely inkeeper even let me mom stay several hours past check-out time as I was attending a seminar. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan to return!

This is the way a B&B should be. First class in every detail.

The stay at the Elizabeth Leigh was amazing. The breakfast was nothing less than superb and Cindy went above and beyond to ensure our stay was cozy. After many different inns, this is a sure bet for satisfaction.

Fantastic Bed and Breakfast! The facilities exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was excellent. There is a guest pantry with wine, sodas, snacks. For our stay, homemade strawberry ice cream and real pound cake were available for us to help ourselves. We certainly enjoyed coming back from dinner and sitting on the porch nejoying ice cream and pound cake. We stayed in the Rose room on the first floor. The mattress was extremely comfortable. The sitting area within the room was a bonus. This is our favorite of all the Bed and Breakfasts in which he have ever stayed. We will return.
