My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Groome Inn over Christmas. It was a great experiance! We enjoyed the beautiful property, the tasty breakfasts, Lela the resident 'inn-dog' and Jimmie's personality was warm and inviting. If you are in the Greensboro area and are lucky enough to have an extra night you MUST stay at the Groome Inn. You don't want to miss the Southern traditions that you'll have at the Groome Inn.

Went to a party last week at the Inn.It was my first time there. Had a good time. Something for the mature. Hope the next time I go I will stay the night.

The family that runs this beautiful Inn were pivotal in making my daughters wedding everything she dreamed it would be. Jimmie and her daughters helped with everything, from setting up big screen TVs on the porch, so we could watch the derby, while still managing to keep the Inn spotless. Breakfast of french toast, eggs, fresh fruit and bagels was delicious. The country charm of this place with special care you receive will not disappoint.

My husband and I stayed for the weekend in thier honeymoon suite, the house is divine as well as the food. Jimmie the inn keeper made us feel right at home. The grouds are beautiful and is the perfect place to get married, we are hoping to renew our vows there. We really felt like family by the time we left and didn't want to leave.
