Glade Valley Bed and Breakfast
The Glade Valley Bed and Breakfast is the newest and coziest place to stay in Alleghany County, North Carolina. It is located within walking distance of the Blue Ridge Parkway and less then 8 miles from Sparta, North Carolina. The B&B is nestled on 29 acres of beautiful mountainside that features tall pines, walking trails and breathtaking views.
Recently built (opened spring of 2006) by owners Jim and Margaret Connor. The Glade Valley B&B is perfect for a tranquil escape. The beautiful log home boasts a large wrap around porch perfect for relaxing with a mountain view and cool breeze.

From Charlotte or the Triad area of North Carolina, go north on I-77 to exit 83. This is a left exit on Route 21 Bypass. Travel north 18 miles on route 21. Turn right on Shawtown Road. 1.2 miles turn right on Shaw Lane. Come through the woods and find us.
From the Blue Ridge Parkway exit at Route 21, mile post 229. Go south towards Roaring Gap ΒΌ mile. Turn left on Shawtown Road. 1.2 miles turn right on Shaw Lane. Come through the woods and find us. - Nearest major airport: Charlotte, NC (CLT-Douglas Intl.) 100 miles

Some say that Margaret has the best buns around, cinnamon buns that is. These will be served fresh from the oven in the morning. The fresh baked aroma will lead you straight to the kitchen.

- Deposit amount required (A minimum of one nights deposit or 50% of total stay is required when the reservation is made. The balance is due at check in time.)
- Check in time is 3:30 P.M. and Check out time is 10:30
- Cancellations:
Two week cancellation notice is required to receive your deposit refund less $10 bookkeeping charge.
30 day cancellation notice is required in October.
