The Magnolia room is a larger room and one of the premium rooms at the Inn. It featues a love seat sofa, cherry dining table, and armoire. The bath has a deep 80 gallon, two person tub, separate shower and private balcony over the verandah. To send your stay over the top have us arrange in room massages, and a bottle of wine for your enjoyment,OR maybe fresh flowers and special chocolates. The Perch on the third floor is also a premium room with the same type bath.Nat King Cole was a personal friend of the Burke family and stayed in the home many times along with Natalie. He would also play and sing for the family when he came. This is the room where he stayed. The rooms feature high thread count, pressed linens, plush robes, snacks and drinks. They also have a thermostat to control your own heat and air as well as a phone and internet connections. Each night's stay includes early coffee and a full breakfast. And of course each room has a wonderful private bath.
The Nat King Cole bath demonstrates how we made every effort to blend the modern features demanded by today's traveller with the charm of the 1906 home. There are candles around the tub, dimmers on the lights and a separate shower. A bonus at the Burke Manor is that we have an ample supply of hot water provided by two commerical heaters and we will not run out when you want to relax in the tub. This room has the standard sized jacuzzi and a separate shower.The Naomi room is bright and cheery and provides a great night's sleep. Not only do the beds have the high thread count, pressed linens they also have the very best of mattresses. We tried to take care of every detail during construction.
The Naomi Room Bath is shown here. When we did construction my wife, Lynn was very clear. "The showers should be separate from the tub and the tub should be big enough and powerful enough to give a good massage." That is exactly what you will find. She also trains our staff to make sure each room is impeccably clean.The Sarah Ruth room has a beautiful high poster bed, cherry armoire, table, and upholstered chair. This room like all the others has satellite TV that offers 150 chanels, movies and music for your pleasure. The bath in this room has the Hydro Therapy Massage shower system ... 5 adjustable shower heads that will provide the shower of your life. It has also been known to make even the most punctual late for breakfast.
Your experience at the Burke Manor is all about you. You may have your breakfast in your room, the dining room or on the verandah. We sit on 3.5 acres and have beautiful gardens, huge Magnolia trees and lots of singing birds.We are also known as the best location in the area for a wedding and reception. Our 4800 square foot pavilion has a permanent floor, is heated and has a black and white acrylic dance floor. This pavilion is also used for corporate parties and events held at the inn. Pictured is the horse drawn carriage that is frequently seen at the Inn.
The Brady cottage, just steps from the main Inn features a king bed, fireplace, deep two person tub, separate shower, frig, microwave and private porch. The owners have been seen checking into this room for their personal get away.This deep two person tub features both air and water jets and is GREAT at relaxing you.
The main staircase, parlors, dining rooms are all accessible from the front foyer. This foyer has 17 inch crown and dentil work.Tucked away on the main floor, this room is good for those that do not do stairs, those that need a pull out sofa bed or those that want the Hydro therapy massage shower.
Garden area behind the Inn and beside the pavilion.The beautifal 4800 square foot pavilion is elegant for any ocasion. It has 24 foot arched ceilings, permanant flooring and is used year round. It will seat up to 300.
