Situated high atop Hoopers Creek at 3000 foot elevation, Chateau On The Mountain is one of North Carolinas newest and most exciting Bed and Breakfast. Ideally located midway between sophisticated Asheville and the magnificent Biltmore Estate and picturesque Hendersonville with its antique and craft shops, guests can use the Chateau as a starting point for many of the areas most popular cultural and recreational opportunities. Guests can choose from quaint rooms or luxurious suites with enhanced romantic features, all with private baths and furnished with a different theme. Most of the property's 11,000 square feet is designated "public space" offering opportunities to be alone or to socialize with others. The more than 10 acres of grounds are inviting and draw guests to the outdoors to more fully savor the endless and ever-changing vistas and the peaks of Mt. Pisgah, some 35 miles away. From Asheville take I-26 East (you'll be going South) 9 miles until Exit 40, Asheville Airport. Turn left on NC 280 heading East to Hendersonville Road (US 25). Turn right 1.5 miles until Old Airport Rd. Ingles will be on your right. Turn left. In about a mile the name changes to Mills Gap. Continue until road makes a sharp left. The 3rd right after that is Hoopers Creek. Turn Right and continue to the stop sign at the Church. Follow Hoopers Creek to the left 1.2 miles. Take a right onto Vineyard Hill Drive. - Guest pets are welcome (In El Paso suite only. $200 Security Dep/Stay. $150 returned)
- Limitations on children staying (children under 14 in El Paso only)
- No childcare is provided
- Consumption of alcohol is permitted (Wine and beer are offered for sale)
- Deposit amount required (50%of total stay for holidays and stays of 3 nights or more.)
- Check in time is 3-7pm, normal and Check out time is 11 AM
- Cancellations:
Cancellations must be made a minimum of 7 days in advance, or 14 days for holidays and stays of 3 days or more to avoid charges for the full stay as booked. All cancellations are subject to a $25 re-booking fee. - Accepted by the following agencies:
