Our lovely inn is located in the historic district of "The South's prettiest town", Edenton, North Carolina. We are three short blocks from: the Albemarle Sound, the largest fresh-water sound in the United States, downtown Edenton, a thriving local business community and the Town of Edenton's Yacht Harbour. Edenton is a community that sees its future growing from the rich soil of past. A place where the standard for Southern Hospitality is set. We invite you to share this true American treasure with us. The Captain's Quarters Inn was completely renovated and redecorated in 1994. We offer eight guest rooms, each with private, modern bath (one with a Jacuzzi), telephone and sitting area with cable TV and a wireless Internet connection. All rooms are tastefully decorated with nautical themes. And, of course, the inn is centrally climate controlled. Your meals will be prepared by our Award Winning Chef Diane Pariseau and presented to you with pride, in the casual elegance of our dining room. We offer four getaway packages. Wine and Dine, Golf and Dine, (May - October), Sail and Dine, (May- October) and Mystery Weekends, October - March. We invite you to spend some time touring our site. We live a mile from the beach, so it's a yearly custom that we run away from home on Memorial Day weekend to avoid the tourists. We researched Edenton, NC for it's charm and history and to make it special we reserved a B&B. The Captain's Quarter's met all of our expectations of a fine B&B. The rooms were beautiful, the bathroom was just recently remodeled and the morning breakfast was delicious! Don & Diane are great hosts and made us feel at home. If you want to get away from everything, this is a great B&B. The Wi-Fi is almost nonexistent and 3G service drifts in and out like a breeze. You're just going to have to spend the evening with the guests and socialize.

Directions to property:
From points North, Take I-95 to Richmond, Rt. 295 to Petersburg, Rt. 460 to Suffolk, Rt. 32 South to Edenton. After going under the Rt. 17 overpass, go 4 traffic lights to Broad St. Turn right & go 8 blocks to W. Queen St. Turn right and go one block to 202 W. Queen St The inn is on your right. From Delmarva peninsula, Take Rt. 13 to the Bay Bridge Tunnel and Norfolk, VA. When exiting the tunnel, look for Rt. 64 East. Take Exit 291B onto Rt. 104, then Route 17 South to Edenton. Look for the hospital and historic district exit (also Rt. 32). At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn left and go under the overpass. Go 4 traffic lights to Broad St. Turn right and go 8 blocks to W. Queen St. Turn right and go one block to 202 W. Queen St. The inn is on your right. From southern points, Take I-95 to Rocky Mount, NC, then Rt. 64 East to Williamston, then Rt. 17 North. After crossing the Chowan River Bridge, turn right at the first Edenton Exit. (W. Queen St. and Business 17 North). Go 3.4 miles to the inn, which is on your left, one house before the first traffic light. Driving time to cities: (Min/Miles) Raleigh 165/135 Richmond 165/135 Norfolk 90/70
