We found this to be the best option when visiting our daughter at Campbell University. If you have the dream of owning and living in an historic home this is the place to experience this . This is a wonderful relaxing home away from home with what seems like your staying with family. I feel this is like staying in a mini Biltmore House, the hospitality and the historic feel is the best. David & Billie Deal Drexel NC
Thank you for staying with us multiple times. We appreciate your kind words and with your daughter all the best at Campbell.

I rented a room here to take some pictures privately. LOVED this house and the room I rented. Unfortunately I was not able to stay due to personal/family issues that had to be addressed. I live less than 10 minutes away from here and have NEVER been inside. I do plan on staying in the near future. As far as the food, I am not able to rate due to I did not eat there, however, I am sure it was delicious. Staff was very nice and friendly!!! Beautiful place that was right here and I had never been there.
We're sorry too that you weren't able to stay longer. We hope you come back even if just to visit. Your reaction is not uncommon with many locals.

Very much enjoyed our one night stay and the hospitality of Carmen and Rob. Large room and wonderful food. We especially like the option to also have dinner at the B&B which was a great salmon dinner at a very reasonable price.
We appreciate you staying with us. The dinner option came about at the request of our guests, many of whom are traveling north or south on I-95. We enjoy feedback from folks who stay with us and strive to make their stay a first rate experience.

We usually stay here on our trips from North to South on I-95. It is convenient, very clean and a great value. In addition to breakfast, you have the option of getting a home-cooked dinner, which saves going out to a restaurant when you are tired. And the price is hard to beat. The owners are super-nice and we have no complaints about the service. We highly recommend it.
We thank you for your continued patronage and look forward to your next visit.

We had a 4 night visit at Carmen and Rob's B&B for our nieces wedding. We had a great time and felt very much at home. The food was great and always hot off the stove. This was our first stay at a B&B and the gateway to many more. We will most surely stay at Simply Divine when we visit Dunn again.
We couldn't have asked for nicer guests. We hope to see you again soon.

Simply Divine is a lovely inn. It is immaculate, comfortable, and the breakfast is wonderful.
Thank you for your kind review.

Simply Divine was wonderful, this is the first bed and breakfast I had ever stayed. The breakfast was very good, our room was large and I loved all the furniture. Rob was so pleasant and friendly. I will be back and can't wait to make reservations.

The breakfast was the best part of the experience. The room was big, but the place was not as what I expected and the bathroom is a bit outdated. The service was great, but the overall room experience was just average.

Simply Divine was the first B&B we have stayed at and it raised the bar very high. The B&B was beautiful, Carmen & Rob were wonderful hosts and the food was excellent. We would highly recommend this B&B and plan to visit it again.

Spent a wonderful weekend at Simply Divine B & B. Carmen and Rob are excellent hosts. The rooms were lovely and quiet; slept very well. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone planning a stay in the area or looking for a quick, lovely getaway.

One thing that was different about this place was that our room was a house down the street, and we had to walk over for breakfast. Luckily, we had good weather. Also, the sprinklers go off at 8:40ish, and blocked our way out with a stream of water over the sidewalk. The innkeepers were very nice, and very accommodating to our dietary needs. The Inn did not make our bed for our second night stay, although they did bring fresh towels.

A great place to stay. Very convenient to I95. The hosts/owners provided very gracious service to us. We would definitely stay there again.

This was the first time that my wife and I have stayed at a bed and breakfast, and it was a wonderful experience!! Rob and Carmen were great hosts. The decor in the house makes you feel as if you have stepped back in time about 100 years, and the stresses of the day seem to fall away as you walk the grounds and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. Breakfast every morning was fresh, tasty and filled with great conversation with Carmen and the other guests. The B&B has wireless internet access in all rooms, but because the walls are plaster, you will get a better signal downstairs in the library. We will definitely stay at Simply Divine again.

In every respect. Wonderful swimming pool is an added bonus. Will stay here again on 95 drives.

My husband and I spent two nights at Simply Divine in late July 2013. The owners are friendly and welcoming and the property is lovely. We rarely stay in B&Bs and the whole experience was so much more than I expected that we'll consider this travel option in the future. Definitely will stay here again when we return to Dunn.

I stay here whenever I am in the area. I found Simply Divine after being disappointed with the chain hotels on the highway. What a great place! Large living area and bedrooms, an outdoor pool, great breakfast - and all for the price of the typical mid-priced hotel. Rob and Carmen are very friendly and helpful hosts!

We always enjoy our stay at Simply Devine. The rooms and breakfast are great and Rob and Carmen are so nice

We love historic homes...for the beauty, architecture, quality, and the stories behind them. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this lovely home, which also has all the modern conveniences we enjoy. The bedroom was very spacious and comfortable, and the host was very hospitable and friendly, yet gave us our privacy, which was a perfect combination for us. The pool area was a nice treat, and breakfast was very good. We highly recommend.

We stayed at this B&B on the way home from Florida. The outisde grounds were beautiful & the home was very tastefully done. The owners offered us a bigger room than what we had & we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with another couple who happened to live a town over from us back home! My only downfall was that this place is close to the train tracks & if you are a light sleeper like me, you may not get a good night's sleep with all the noise & honking every hour throughout the night! But that is not the fault of the Inn. Great place to stay otherwise!

We were traveling on I-95 from south Georgia to the Philadelphia area and were looking for a place to stay for a night at about the halfway point. The Simply Divine B&B showed up in a Google search and fit the bill for us perfectly. It was not more than 1/2 mile off of the highway, was inexpensive, and was available! The proprietor was very friendly and accommodating and directed us to a good local spot for some dinner that was perfect for us. Our experience was excellent. I'm still surprised at the price compared with the accommodations. Very, very reasonable. Thanks to Rob and Carmen for a great experience.

We chose this lovely B&B as a break from the motels along I95 on our way to Florida. The home is very well decorated and the room was spacious. The mattress was incredible. We enjoyed a wonderful night's sleep. The innkeepers have a fridge stocked with cold beverages in the hall outside the rooms. Breakfast was delightful.

We travel back and forth from FL to NY frequently and we always stop in Dunn because it is halfway in between and we discovered Simply Devine! Previously, we had always stayed the Barrington but toward the end of last year, well, it wasn’t as nice as it used to be and now that it’s closed we took a chance on the only other B&B in town and what a find! We purposely wanted a place where we could relax and have a nice dinner and some entertainment and Carmen & Rob (live-in hosts) offer meals any time of day. Plus they are much closer to 95 and are near downtown so it’s an easy walk to entertainment. And the rooms! All are beautifully decorated, have private baths and heat and heat ac temperature controls - plus they have a pool! What a find! They will make you feel at home - because you are!

Simply Divine has become our regular stop when traveling between Amelia Island, FL and Columbia MD. The quiet neighborhood and lovely old home is a comfort after a day on the road. Simply Divine is not only a great place to stay, but it is also a great value. Rob and Carmen are gracious hosts. They accommodate our breakfast requests and have even provided a birthday cake for a special occasion. We enjoy knowing that our stay at Simply Divine will always be a good one.

I am a frequent traveler to Dunn NC and decided to stay at Simply Divine for two nights. The innkeeper, Carmen was an excellent hostess and very sincere. The coral room was spacious and had its own thermostat which was great. There was plenty of hot water for late morning and evening showers. The stay was pleasant. The location was close to the I-95, antique shops, and restaurants. I enjoyed the stay and plan to return.

My husband and I drive from Florida to NY about once every two years to see family. Dunn, NC is about a 9 hour drive for us and just a few miles from I-95. Simply Divine is a welcome respite after all those hours on the road. Our experience with the big hotel chains along that corridor has been less than satisfactory lately. We think it is well worth the few extra dollars to spend the night in comfort at Simply Divine. The beds are soft and comfortable and there is plenty of hot water for a shower at the end of a long drive. Plus, it's a gorgeous home and you feel more like you are staying with family, only better because they're not ;) It's crazy to spend money to stay anywhere else!

We frequently make this charming inn a place to stay whenever we travel from FL to VA. Clean, elegantly comfortable with easy access to I-95. Breakfast is always terrific. Our hosts are "simply divine". Looking forward to our November visit! P & J Mc, Ormond Beach, FL

My husband and I decided to look for a Bed & Breakfast in lieu of the customary hotel off I-95 on our way South. Simply Divine B&B exceeded our expectations! So warm, inviting, charming and comfortable. Thanks Rob and Carmen for a wonderful treat!

I wanted to surprise my wife with a getaway for our 5 year anniversary and I must say it was difficult finding one to fit our budget. I came across Simply Divine and I was very impressed with their packages and prices. I decided to give the Ultimate Celebration package a try as well included a couples massage which they organized for us in our room. The entire experience was very enjoyable, relaxing, and my wife was totally surprised and happy with the pampering we received. Carmen was a great host who was willing to cater to our every need! We would highly recommend Carmen and Rob to anyone desiring a great getaway in a beautiful house where every meal is scrumptious and the hosts are there to please!!

Traveling to and from Florida on I-95 is not a pleasant trip. Our night at Simply Divine provided a much needed dash of elegance and pampering. Our hosts were wonderful--sincere, kind, and generous. The food was delicious. The dinner for two was delicious--from the organic salad to the fudge cake! Definitely a bargain at $30.00 per couple and so nice to escape the noise and unpredictable fare along the I-95 corridor. The house itself is stunning--a true mansion. Should the opportunity present itself to stay overnight (or longer) in central North Carolina, just north of Fayetteville, do treat yourselves to this bed and breakfast. You won't be disappointed. And, best of all, they will accept a small, well-behaved dog for a nominal fee. Thank you Carmen and Rob! Dan and Cindy Lees, Newark, DE

We had a romantic weekend there inthe coral room during Memorial day weekend. Rob and Carmen are great. The dinner was phenomenal. The service was more than what we could ask for. My boyfirend and I loved every moment of the Romantic Retreat. This was our first time visiting a B & B ever. We plan to visit again.

I stayed in the Coral room and I will definitely stay again & again when I am back in the area. This was a great value and the french toast was the best. I enjoyed the warmest conversation with Carmen, the owner. I have told many of my friends who travel into the area as well to stay there.

Although our stay was brief (just one night), Carmen and Rob pampered us from the minute we arrived until the time we left. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the house itself exudes historic charm and grace, and our breakfast was delicious and filling. We definitely plan to visit again!

We had a most wonderful stay. Carmen and Rob are outstanding hosts and the place could not have been better. They responded to all of our needs and went beyond what had been expected. For example, they provided us with lunch and would not charge us for the lunch which was plentiful and good. The three course dinner for $30 for each couple was very good and a real bargain. We enjoyed talking to Carmen and Rob and would recommend this B&B to anyone traveling along 95. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully furnished. The house is an old impressive building in a nice setting.
5 on March 11, 2009
Carmen and Rob provide unmatched hospitality, comfort, food and a beautiful home. What a value! I will never stay at those cookie-cutter hotels off 95 again when I can relax under the care of Carmen and Rob.

Husband and I found this lovely place via search on internet! We were not disappointed! Carmen our host was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed! The breakfast was soooo delicious! I had an extra touch for my package deal which included roses in room, champagne, $50 gift certificate to local and delicious restaurant, chocolate, an appitizer plate and a delicious cake. Of course, that was what we wanted, you can just get the room and the hospitality, but for the price, you may as well go for the whole thing!!! I really loved the room, it was huge and soooo homey, that i really hated to leave!!! I give this place a 5 star rating!!! I will be back Mary and Bill Glenfield, NY

We so enjoyed our stay at the Simply Devine B&B. The inn keepers / owners Carmen and Rob are so gracious :-) As a history buff's, we enjoyed hearing about their Inn's beginning to present day. I found this inn while searching on your web site prior to leaveing for two weeks in Florida for vacation. I wanted to give my husband a "romantic surprise" on our way back home! "The Romance on a Shoestring" was just right. The room Carmen chose for us was "simply devine" :-) When we left the next morning, we told Carmen that we would be back again. We highly recommend this inn to all who like history and quaint towns; Dunn, North Carolina. Thanks for allowing us to leave our review :-) Eldersburg, Maryland

We found the Simply Divine B&B on our last night on the road of a 10 day road trip. Carmen was welcoming and saw to our every comfort. The house is magnificent! Our room was beautifully decorated, large and comfortable. Carmen and Rob, you are doing a great job as innkeepers. We will be back.

Our stay at Simply Divine definately exceeded our expectations. It's a beautiful home, and has a large pool with diving board. Our room was very nice. Bedding was superior. Our breakfast was absolutely delicious. Bountiful and of superior quality. The highlight of our stay! And the hosts, Rob and Carmen, couldn't have been more accomodating. The home is only 5 minutes off I 95, so it makes for a very pleasant alternative to a chain motel when traveling along the east coast. We highly recommend it. Tony and Kathy DAmico Melbourne, Fla.

We stayed at the Simply Divine bed in breakfast in Dunn for our 11th wedding anniversary. It is a new B&B and we were the 44th guests to stay. It is lovely. We arrived around 6pm and were shown to our bedroom, the Jade Room. We enjoyed a beautiful candlelit dinner for two in the dining room. Dinner was served on fine china with pretty silver chargers. It was perfect. We were served a fresh organic green salad, sweet potatoes grilled outside, and baked chicken. For dessert there was yummy pound cake with pecan crumbled topping served with ice cream and fresh strawberries. (We found out later that the hosts purchase all their food at the local farmer's market, so everything was fresh, locally purchased, even the eggs for breakfast). After dinner we went for a swim in the pool, just the two of us. We came back in and changed into pajamas and took our sparkling cider, wine glasses, chocolates, and a deck of cards out to the porch and played cards until it got a little too breezy. In the morning we chose to eat breakfast out on the patio. (We want a patio like this one)! We enjoyed our french toast made from homemade bread and our omelet made with feta, parsley, and dill. The B&B owners are very friendly, unobtrusive hosts. They were very willing to serve and be as present or absent as we wished. We want to go back again next year. It was wonderful and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quick and romantic weekend.
