Welcome to our spectacular North Carolina Beach bed and breakfast. The Beacon House Inn was originally a 1950s Boarding House that has been transformed into a romantic retreat, although modern day comforts have been added much of the original charm is still apparent throughout. Our comfortable décor is meant to be enjoyed with touches of vintage photographs and ocean memorabilia. We won't try to take you back in time, but rather remind you of when life was simpler with hopes that this will inspire a very relaxing stay at the Inn. Leave the frenzy behind, curl up on the couch, or relax on one of our three decks, while embracing your choices of doing everything or nothing at all. It really is up to you! In addition to friendly, hospitable service, we offer full home made breakfasts each morning, comfortable beds, quality linens, air conditioning, free wireless internet and local discounts.
We encourage you to sit and relax in our main Living Room! You'll enjoy TV, movies, games or just some friendly conversation with friends.
Our cozy romantic Whirlpool suite features a private bath with a whirlpool tub, separate 6-head body shower, a queen-size bed, CD player, Satellite TV, air conditioning and a ceiling fan. Located on the first floor, it’s just steps away from our front veranda where you can walk across the street to the ocean for a relaxing beach stroll with your honey. Its soft color palette is soothing, it features a 2-person whirlpool tub right in your room where you may enjoy a relaxing soak with your lover and let your cares float away.
The Romance suite will make a perfect getaway for you and your loved one. This second floor suite features 2 rooms with a private bath. The Romance Suite's den features a very comfy couch, a reading chair, TV and a DVD player. It is located very close to the back upper deck where you can relax and enjoy the evening sunsets.

Our Beacon's 9 is on the first floor and has a bit more of a contemporary feel. It features a private bath with shower, a queen-sized bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan and reading chair. The Inn is located just steps to the sandy pristine beaches in Carolina Beach, NC and close enough to the Wilmington area you won’t miss any of the sights. Select from seven cozy romantic guestrooms, private bathroom with shower, comfortable queen beds all decorated with unique seaside decor. One room has a whirlpool for two and an amazing six head shower; one is a two room suite complete with a comfy couch for lounging on while relaxing the days away. Awake each morning to the aromas of coffee and breakfast that awaits your arrival. Then walk on over to the beach for that lovely romantic stroll or sit on any of the verandas and rejuvenate. We were very impressed with the service - so friendly but not intrusive. Our hosts went out of thier way to make our stay best ever. We had not packed for the beach so they lent us thier own equipment to make up our deficit. We are both gluten free, so our hosts went to extraordinary lengths to acquire and test gluten free options. Delicious food and locally roasted coffee to die for! Very comfy bed and room. We will definitely be back soon!

We had a great time at The Beacon House Inn! The place is fabulous and Mike was awesome with helpings planning out and coming up with a package for us girls! I had google girls getaway in North Carolina beaches and Beacon House Inn pop up! Our trip was great, mike recommended restaurant which were amazing!! Very very pleased will our trip!! Mike, Heather, and the massage therapist y'all have a great place and I will definitely recommend you guys!! I couldn't thank you enough for everything!!

We loved the boarding house feel to Beacon House and Mike's great breakfasts. The B&B was located away from the commercial area, quiet at night, and with a pretty vacant road, made it enjoyable to walk in the evening. The beach was easily accessible and the early morning beach walkers were sparse as well. We have already recommended Beacon House to other travelers we have met since leaving Carolina Beach.

Cancellations: All cancellations will be charged a $35.00 cancellation fee. All cancellations require a 10 day advance notice in which the deposit is refundable less the cancellation fee per room. Cancellations less than 10 days prior to arrival will forfeit the initial deposit. Same day cancellations will be charged 50% of the remaining total balance plus the initial deposit. Early departures or no-shows are treated as same day cancellations. We ask that all cancellations be made by email or other written correspondence.

This was our first experience in a Bed and Breakfast and we must say it was AWESOME!!!!! WE have told all of our friends and family and we highly recommend staying with Mike here at the Beacon House. Nothing can be improved!

Don't overlook the pleasures of being this close to the beach and to be able to have plentiful parking (for guests) so close to your room. We loved every bit of the stay. Mike and the staff went out of their way to answer questions, although to be honest, they covered just about everything in their literature and arrival chat. They are doing it RIGHT!

This was a last minute sisters get a way. Our first time at a Bed & Breakfast. The hospitality was fabulous. It was enjoyable and relaxing. The food was a culinary delight. I would definitely recommend this B&B to my friends and family.

My wife had to take a test in Wilmington on Saturday so we figured we would stay the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We really wanted to stay on the ocean but found most place on the river. By chance I found Beacon House and am so happy I did! We stayed in the pineapple room which is bigger than the pictures make it look. It was so comfortable and romantic. The breakfast was great and the hosts were too!
