Absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views. The staff was super friendly and the food was delicious! They bring breakfast up to your room each morning and the whole experience just makes you feel really good. It is a little on the expensive side but I wouldn't expect anything less for this high of a quality. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone!

A friend and I got away for the weekend and this was the perfect place. 10-30 minutes to everywhere, we had an amazing time. They accomodated us both having separate sleeping areas. Breakfasts were out of this world and brought to the room. We had 180 degree views in the suite. Everything was beyond our wildest expectations.

Perfect Romantic Getaway for our 14 yr Anniversary! Just so many great things to say about Harborlight Guest House, I can go on for days. Breathtaking views of the Bogue Sound from our room the Beaufort. Delicious Breakfast brought to our room each morning, we enjoyed our meal watching the views from our room 1st thing in the morning ( you can also enjoy your breakfast right outside of the room too). Staff was so polite and accommodating, we had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend and so much more. We can't wait to come back hopefully sooner than later!

We've stayed on the Outer Banks several times; decided to try the NC coast. The Harborlight was an ideal B&B for a multi-night stay. Spectacular views…..our suite was beautiful and comfortable…..scrumptious breakfasts……innkeepers Kathy & Jim outstanding hospitality and touring tips……and the Beaufort/Emerald Isle area kept us busy for a week. As experienced B&B'ers, we rate the Harborlight one of the best experiences we've had.

I can not say enough good things about this B&B. Wonderful service from the inn keepers who were always offering great advice on restaurants, beaches, and activities. We didnt have beach chairs or an umbrella, but there were some available free of charge provided by Harborlight. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous. Loved having cocktails on the deck or on the dock to watch the sunset. Breakfast every morning was prompt, tasty, and you cant beat the view!! Will definitely be returning to this delightful B&B.

We had a wonderful stay at the Harborlight Guest House. It's in a beautiful setting, right on the intracoastal waterway, with gorgeous sunsets. All of the folks there are solicitous of your comfort without being intrusive. And the Breakfasts were the best ever! I highly recommend this excellent B & B.

This place was PERFECT for our honeymoon and wedding!!!! We stayed in the Emerald; it has extraordinary views in all directions! The room was huge, very comfortable, and lovely. Bob Pickens (from our home-state!) went out of his way to accommodate us and make sure we had everything we needed for our very early wedding. He even picked up donuts and coffee for our mini-reception! The staff are sweet and do an excellent job. We kayaked to an island and watched the sunrise, and returned just before our feast of a breakfast was served! I would have liked to have moved in to one of those hammocks!! We will carry so many wonderful memories from this place! My only complaint is that it's hard to leave this place... hehe ;). We hope to return next Summer! Thanks so much for everything!!!

When we were driving to this location through a very modest neighborhood, we were concerned. Then we got to the end of the lane and saw the B&B on a beautiful piece of property on a peninsula surrounded by water on three sides and were glad we made this reservation. The inn is not impressive to look at from the outside, but our room was luxuriously appointed and had a beautiful view (we were in the Emerald Suite). The innkeepers were friendly and offered good suggestions for dinner. Their breakfasts were among the best we have ever had at a B&B. The only minor suggestion for improvement would be to improve the common area downstairs. In many inns, that is a focal point for the inn and a chance to meet other guests. This B&B has stairs on the outside so you don't go through this common area to get to the front door, so maybe that's why it is not a big deal. And a minor point...they charged $0.50 for sodas and water. Its not a big expense, but at $290/night you kind of expect that will be complimentary as it is in most B&Bs (and even in most of the hotels I stay at on business). Overall, though, it was a great place to stay and we'd come back again if we are in the Crystal Coast area.
