The best B&B we could ever hope for. It also has the best chef!

Mike and Laura took excellent care of us at their lovely B & B. We were visiting our daughter who is an apprentice at a nearby farm, and they welcomed her to stay in our room with us one night and join us for breakfast one morning. (Breakfasts were delicious, by the way!) Then, when we returned from a hike on the mountain completely soaked by a surprise rainstorm, Laura kindly washed and dried our clothes for us. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay at Terrell House and would happily return there on a future trip.

Terrell House B&B is one, if not the best, B&Bs we have stayed in. Wonderful, interesting hosts, exceptionally clean, comfortable home, super food.

Six members of my family headed towards Burnsville, from three states, for a very sad family occasion but we were very fortunate to find comfort and accomodations at Terrell House & with Mike & Laura. Their inn is located in a perfectly beautiful neighborhood and they quickly made us feel at home with an immediate sense of friendship & warm hospitality. Every room is delightful decorated including all of the outdoor "rooms" and Laura's gardens. Coffee was ready in the morning for the earliest riser to enjoy while waiting for a delicious breakfast to be served. Terrell House and Mike & Laura will always be our first choice when we are next in Burnsville!!

Nice comfortable room with tub and shower. Rockers on front porch. Quiet. Neatly landscaped with blooming flowers. Innkeepers are very congenial and good cooks, top-notch breakfast.

We just discovered the adorable town of Burnsville, NC and the Terrell House B&B. We were impressed with the quaint small town with some nice restaurants and quality shops on Main Street. It’s a busy little town with a town square where there’s always something going on. The B&B served farm-fresh eggs and wonderful breakfasts, artfully prepared. There’s so much to do in the area, close to Asheville and is a perfect location for a getaway. We stayed in the Virginia room which was on the small side but had two chairs for comfortable seating and still a bargain for the price. Where can you find a nice B&B room for under $100? The B&B is walking distance to downtown which is a plus. The B&B is spotlessly clean.

My wife and I had a great stay at the Terrell House. Our hosts were wonderful as was the room, location, and service. Also a great value for our all-too-brief weekend stay

Nice place. Friendly innkeepers. Beautiful little town. Area has much to offer: antiques, local produce, music, hiking, shopping. Well worth the price and breakfast was very good. I would stay here again.

Warm hospitality, delicious breakfasts, and beautiful rooms. This B&B is off the beaten path and perfect or a quiet getaway.

You can pay much more - but the Terrell House is a warm, friendly, inviting atmosphere.... in the lovely mountains of North Carolina.

We have stayed at the Terrell House twice now and had great experiences both times. Mike and Laura are wonderful hosts and the food was excellent. The house is exceedingly clean and comfortable.

Terrell House is a very comfortable, welcoming Bed and Breakfast. I stayed in the Virginia Room and it was very homey and comfortable and I felt very at home there.

My daughter & I needed a last minute place to stay, this past weekend, and Mike helped us out. The Terrell House is a beautiful B & B, and I would highly recommend it. Breakfast was awesome too! Thanks Mike!!

The Terrell House experience was great for us! The owners were courteous and welcoming, and the accomodations were wonderful! We felt right at home and enjoyed all of the exrta little touches they provided to accomplish that. In addition, the rooms were decorated beautifully- each with its own personality. Not to mention everything was immaculate! We would definitely recommend this B&B!

What a great first B&B experience! We couldn't have asked for nicer innkeepers, and what a lovely house.

Plan to utilize these services again. It will be a "base camp" for sightseeing. Facilities and service were impeccable.

We stayed at the Terrell House in early October and had a wonderful experience. The B&B is immaculate and the owners, Mike and Laura are absolutely wonderful! What a great place to relax and enjoy a beautiful Colonial home, with a fantastic view of the NC Mountains! We recommend anyone traveling in the Burnsville NC area check in for the stay at this Southern Gem. Mike and Laura really know how to run a B&B and the Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Great place and great hosts!

We ALWAYS enjoy our stay at Terrell House and have brought friends and relatives from out of town and Europe. Friendly, charming, spotless home away from home, only better! We will return again!

The house was very nice. Attractive, friendly, very comfortable. The grounds were beautiful. Very good!

Terrell Hose sports a southern, beautifulporch, resentive garden w. impeachable rooms with Bathrooms, very tasteful decorations.

We really enjoyed our relaxing 3-day stay. The house was comfortable, immaculate and cozy. Breakfasts were delicious and the hosts suggestions for the 4th of July activities really helped us have a special time.

The Terrell House B&B is a beautiful, peaceful place to enjoy the N.C. mountains, near Mt. Mitchell & three beautiful golf courses. It offers a pleasant location to enjoy the N.C. Mountains.
