My girlfriend and I recently spent 3 nights at Lovill House Inn. What a wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived you could see the love that Scott and Anne have for their inn. The grounds were beautifully maintained, with shrubs and flowers everywhere. The house was gorgeous, with a welcoming wrap-around porch and beautiful rooms throughout. Our room, the Hickory, was well appointed and very spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable and the furnishings were very tasteful. The breakfasts were outstanding and diverse. As wonderful as the house, grounds, and food were, what made our stay so nice was the hospitality of Scott and Anne. They made us feel right at home, always greeting us by name and with a smile. They were very attentive, giving us pointers on places to visit and eat and making sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely go back to Lovill House Inn if our travels take us back to Boone. Henry L.

This was my families first ever stay in a B&B. We were greeted by name and felt at home immediately. The rooms were delightful as well as clean and comfortable. While we were only there for one night, we have already booked our next visit on October.

Even though we were in Boone for college move in, we appreciated our cozy retreat to the Lovill House after a long day. Everything was fabulous! This will be a repeat for us on our next visit to Boone. Thank you Ann and Scott.

We stayed at the Lovill House Inn to attend the GMHG. The service and stay were both fantastic. My only suggestion concerns the window AC units. The evenings were cool during our stay. The night air was cooler than the AC so the room would get stuffy overnight. I would have preferred to sleep with the windows open instead of having the air on but this did not seem possible. I did not ask Scott or Anne if this was possible so fault could very be mine.
Thank you for your kind words concerning your experience at Lovill House. 4 of our 6 six rooms have both window fans and A/C units during warmer months. For the other two including yours with only two windows in the room we are always happy to change out fan for A/C or the other way around depending on the weather conditions. Hope this is helpful.

This is a delightful sanctuary outside the main street of Boone, NC. Even though it was raining most of my three days I loved staying there, meeting other guests, and sleeping in a wonderfully comfortable bed.Breakfast is outrageously yummy and changes every day. I would definitely come back.

We picked the BEST place to celebrate our anniversary. The cottage behind the main house was quiet and private. Scott and Ann are the world's BEST innkeepers. They are both very personable. Scott has extensive knowledge of what to visit and where to eat in the area. Ann is a superb chef and her decorating skills are clearly visible throughout the B&B. We have Paul Lovill House Inn on the top of our list of places to recommend to friends staying in Boone or Blowing Rock.

Scott and Anne are the absolute best and most hospitable innkeepers in the world! The inn is always beautiful and well maintained! We stay here every year for our anniversary and can't think of any place or any other people we would rather spend that time with! We love the inn and the innkeepers! You won't find a better stay period!
