Taylor House Inn is a Bed & Beakfast and, with the majestic surrounding valley scene and the beautiful herb garden, it is the perfect place to spend some quality time as well as to host an outdoor wedding or any other event. We at the Taylor House Inn invite you to come and experience a place that seems one of times past, a place where moments of solitude are as abundant as the rivers and streams that give life to the surrounding hills. At intersection of 321 with NC-105 in Boone, turn onto NC-105 South. Drive approximately five (5) miles to the traffic light at Broadstone Road (State Road 1112, just across the Watauga River Bridge). Turn right onto Broadstone Road. Drive approximately three (3) miles to the intersection with NC-194 (in front of Valle Crucis Elementary School). Turn left onto NC-194 South. Go approximately 1.3 miles and Taylor House Inn will be on your right.

Take I-85 South from Charlotte to US-321 exit in Gastonia. Exit onto US-321 North toward Lincolnton and Hickory. Continue on US-321 North for approximately 75 miles, passing through Lincolnton, Hickory, Lenoir, and Blowing Rock. At intersection with NC-105 in Boone, turn left onto NC-105 South. Drive approximately five (5) miles to the traffic light at Broadstone Road (State Road 1112, just across the Watauga River Bridge). Turn right onto Broadstone Road. Policies - No minimum stay required
- Smoking is allowed outside only
- We cannot accommodate guest pets
- Limitations on children staying (Children are welcome in our Suites)
- No childcare is provided
- Deposit amount required (A deposit of at least 1 night stay is required for reservation.)
- Check in time is between 3-8 pm and Check out time is 11 am
- Cancellations:
"Important Note": Due to the size of our Inn and our limited availability, cancellations affect us considerably. Guests are responsible for full payment for all nights reserved. A deposit of on one night minimum or a 50% deposit of all nights reserved will be charged to the credit card provided at time of reservation. Your deposit indicates acceptance of our policy. A 14 day cancellation notice before your scheduled date of arrival, is required to receive a refund of your deposit less a $35.00 cancellation fee (30 days in October). Should you cancel less than 14 days prior to arrival, you will be held financially responsible for the entire reservation and your credit card billed for the total balance of your stay. This policy is applied 100% of the time and this regardless of the reason, gravity of the cause, or nature of the emergency. However, we will try our best to rebook your room. If we are able to partially or fully re-rent the room then a partial or full refund of the payment will be refunded to your credit card, plus a $35 processing fee. If you feel this might be an issue, you may want to purchase "travel cancellation or interruption insurance" from one of the many reputable insurance companies which provide that coverage.
