    Take I-85 South from Charlotte to US-321 exit in Gastonia. Exit onto US-321 North toward Lincolnton and Hickory. Continue on US-321 North for approximately 75 miles, passing through Lincolnton, Hickory, Lenoir, and Blowing Rock. At intersection with NC-105 in Boone, turn left onto NC-105 South. Drive approximately five (5) miles to the traffic light at Broadstone Road (State Road 1112, just across the Watauga River Bridge). Turn right onto Broadstone Road.     • Cancellations:
      "Important Note": Due to the size of our Inn and our limited availability, cancellations affect us considerably. Guests are responsible for full payment for all nights reserved. A deposit of on one night minimum or a 50% deposit of all nights reserved will be charged to the credit card provided at time of reservation. Your deposit indicates acceptance of our policy. A 14 day cancellation notice before your scheduled date of arrival, is required to receive a refund of your deposit less a $35.00 cancellation fee (30 days in October). Should you cancel less than 14 days prior to arrival, you will be held financially responsible for the entire reservation and your credit card billed for the total balance of your stay. This policy is applied 100% of the time and this regardless of the reason, gravity of the cause, or nature of the emergency. However, we will try our best to rebook your room. If we are able to partially or fully re-rent the room then a partial or full refund of the payment will be refunded to your credit card, plus a $35 processing fee. If you feel this might be an issue, you may want to purchase "travel cancellation or interruption insurance" from one of the many reputable insurance companies which provide that coverage. One supplier of this type of insurance is https://www.globaltravelshield.com If you do not agree to these conditions and terms please advise us within 48 hours of the date and time at which this email was sent, for a full refund of your deposit, minus an automatic $35.00 processing fee.

    Squire Taylor's Suite,First Floor Suite is tucked away in the rhododendron on the western side of the house, overlooking the gazebo an herb garden. An elegant king size pencil post bed is paired with a slatted walnut daybed, each with a down comforter and colorful quilts. The large bathroom has an original claw foot tub with shower. The suite has its own private sitting area with a gas chimney and Satellite TV.

Lou Hill Smith's Suite, in the attic and also known as the honeymoon suite, is a perfect place for a getaway. This large private guest room has a king size bed, private bath with shower, sitting area and AC and a Satellite TV.

    Aunt Sue's Room,Room 1,is one of the largest guest rooms, located on the front west corner of the second floor. Two large sets of windows overlook the herb garden and gazebo to the west and to the front is a peaceful view of the Valle and Dutch Creek. A high king size iron bed like Grandmother’s with a down comforter and hand made quilt make for all comforts of yesteryear.

Aunt Doris's Room, Room 2, a cozy guest room, is tucked away on the west side of the house on the second floor. Cool mountain mornings and our gracefully curved wooden king size bed with down comforter and patchwork quilt are great for sleeping late. The wicker set of chairs overlooks our gazebo and herb garden. This large step down bathroom also has an original claw foot tub with shower.

    Uncle Gilbert's Room, Room 3, on the second floor, is nestled in the back of the house on the east side. This guest room has a majestic king size bed and is shaded by an old hemlock. Beneath two large windows is the stone terrace and flower gardens with numerous butterflies and finches. Uncle Gilbert's Room is adjacent to Gordon & Henry's Room and can accommodate families

Aunt Nancy's Room, Room 5, overlooks the entrance as well as the wonderful pastoral views of the Valle. Its white wooden king size bed with a down comforter and hand made quilt invites you to a beautiful rest. Two white wicker chairs set between the large windows are the perfect place for a quiet and relaxing moment.

    The Flower Cottage is separated from the main house with its own private entrance. Nested against the hill, on the west side of the property, it has a quaint one bedroom with queen bed, private bath with shower and AC.

The Little Room in the Red Cottage has its own delightful charm. The big window gives you a view of the old historical barn of the Valle. The access to its private entrance is through the flower gardens and is completely independent from the Red Cottage. The Little Room has a queen size bed, a wicker settee and a private bath with shower.

    Gordon & Henry's Room, Room 4, on the second floor, is on the east side of the house and has two exquisite white wooden queen size beds.
