Valle Crucis, North Carolina has been attracting settlers and travelers alike, for nearly 200 years. Taylor House Inn is a Bed & Beakfast and, with the majestic surrounding valley scene and the beautiful herb garden, it is the perfect place to spend some quality time as well as to host an outdoor wedding or any other event. We at the Taylor House Inn invite you to come and experience a place that seems one of times past, a place where moments of solitude are as abundant as the rivers and streams that give life to the surrounding hills. We feel fortunate to be part of such a powerful place and would like to extend our hospitality to help share the magic of Valle Crucis.

My granddaughter, who is six, and I stayed two nights June 2016. Everything was delightful. Tessa and Bernard were so kind to my granddaughter. Tessa even made a special breakfast the first morning since what the adults had, which was excellent, was not something a six year old would like. I wanted to give 5s on Service, Dining, and Value, but it wouldn't let me. It was a perfect place for us.

Location just outside Boone, NC is great. Very near some fun and mildly challenging hiking paths. Owners are great people.

the location is great, close to Boone if food or entertainment is desire, but in the mountains with beautiful views and great hiking. The host and hostess are very accommodating. I would definitely go back.

We stayed at the Taylor House Inn during a weekend get-away ski trip, and it was wonderful! Bernard was a gracious host, and beyond accommodating. The night we arrived, he waited up until almost midnight to check us in after we were delayed getting away. The room was spacious, clean, and very well decorated. Tessa made a fantastic breakfast for us the following morning which left us wanting more! We'll definitely be visiting again!
