Valle Crucis, North Carolina has been attracting settlers and travelers alike, for nearly 200 years. Taylor House Inn is a Bed & Beakfast and, with the majestic surrounding valley scene and the beautiful herb garden, it is the perfect place to spend some quality time as well as to host an outdoor wedding or any other event. We at the Taylor House Inn invite you to come and experience a place that seems one of times past, a place where moments of solitude are as abundant as the rivers and streams that give life to the surrounding hills. We feel fortunate to be part of such a powerful place and would like to extend our hospitality to help share the magic of Valle Crucis.

Tessa and Bernard were most inviting for a stay I had planned for my six year old daughter and I. It's extremely difficult to find a B&B that will allow children to stay. The Inn was quite and off the beaten path, within the town of Valle Crucis. We enjoyed many great things during our stay, including: Grandfather Mountain, horseback riding, shopping in dowtown Boone, eating at lots of great restaurants, etcetera. We would definitely return for another visit!

We had such an enjoyable, relaxing stay at Taylor House Inn. Tessa & Bernard were most hospitable, warm and kind. The breakfast exceeded our expectations - a multi-course fine dining experience. We would highly recommend this B&B to others!

My boyfriend and I recently spent the weekend at the Taylor House Inn and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We stayed in the Flower Cottage and were very happy with our room. Tessa was a wonderful cook and both mornings we had breakfast the food was delicious. Bernard and Tessa truly did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. The Taylor House Inn is about 20 minutes from Sugar Mountain, and it was an easy drive to the mountain.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Taylor House Inn last weekend. We were warmly welcomed and pleased to find the house beautifully lit and decorated for Christmas! Bernard was so helpful when we arrived, and made sure we had everything we needed, including information about the surrounding area. Our bed was so comfortable! The ensuite bathroom was adequate if small, with lots of extra touches, and fresh towels daily. The Inn is beautifully situated, and not far from some wonderful places to eat, shop, and enjoy the beautiful mountains. Our breakfast was delicious, and our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer! We would gladly return, and would recommend it without hesitation!
