3rd time we've stayed here. GREAT value and LOCATION. Beautiful and fresh rooms. Nice "self-serve" breakfast and full kitchen amenities.

The inn is charming and rustic. The innkeepers were friendly, unobtrusive, and prepared a vegetarian quiche per request. The room decor was beautiful, and the location perfect for experiencing all of the Asheville area. We will return!

Walk into the welcoming, spacious & gracious front entry, living, dining and gathering space with gas burning fireplace. Abundant charming windows & delightful Arts&Crafts features throughout the Cottage provide character & ambience to your stay at Oakland.Another view of the large front entry & living area of Oakland Cottage - a wonderful space in which to lounge by the gas fireplace, work a puzzle, read a book or play chess. Each morning, a full breakfast is available & served in the Dining Room area.
Enjoy the many additional common areas of Oakland Cottage - relax on the front porch or back deck.The smaller bedroom of the Garden Suite with Queen Bed
The main room of the Safari Suite has a Queen bed. Walk through double French doors into the "Sunroom" of this Suite in which one or twin beds may be set. Mini-fridge & microwave are additional amenities in a nook off the sunroom. Additional amenities include Coffee-maker, Cable TV & private full bath, soaps, shampoos & bathrobes.The Garden Suite is the largest of the 4 Suites. Pictured here is the wonderful master bedroom with king bed and two twins. Access to a private deck is through sliding glass doors. The second bedroom is through French doors with Queen bed. An small entry foyer to this suite has extra amenities such as a mini-fridge, microwave & coffee-maker.
Entry room of the Music Suite with Blue Toile - comfortable sitting area with Cable TV, Coffee Maker, breakfast table, or with a daybed & trundle, this room may expand for additional guests.Rose Room 8 with double bed, full private bath, in-room coffeemaker, electric kettle, soaps, shampoos & bathrobes.
The Music Suite - with two rooms and a private full bath - this Suite has a Queen bed and large windows for natural lighting & views of night time city lights. The second room may serve as a sitting room or separate bedroom (one or two twin beds).Rose Rooms 7 & 8 - there is a double lock-out door between these two rooms - opened here. Reserve Rose Room 7 (pictured here) with Queen bed, Rose Room 8 with double bed, or reserve them together for a 2 bedroom 2 bath Suite.

Family friendly Suites; Reserve the Whole cottage for that special family reunion or small retreat style meeting. Just 1.5 miles to the entrance of the Biltmore Estate.Bountiful Breakfast served each morning in the dining room between 8:30 and 9:30 am. Special requests may be accommodated with advance notice.
The Safari Suite - with just a touch of Jungle! This is the Queen bedroom with settee/ living area & cable TV. There is a twin bed situated in the gabled window nook. The second room is accessed through double French doors. A large & sunny bay window overlooks the front yard. There is a Daybed with Trundle that may be made up as two twins, or as a King Bed. This room also contains a mini-fridge, microwave & coffee maker. The full bath with clawfoot tub is accessed through the second room.The Music Suite with Queen Bed in Master bedroom, day bed with trundle in living room - lovely Suite for small families or couples traveling with a parent.
The Dogwood Suite is located on the first floor and has a bath with large step-in shower & lovely tile detail. This two room Suite may be accessed from inside the B&B and also from a private outside entry off its own little front porch with bistro table & chairs. Queen bed in main room and twin bed in second room.Purchase discounted Biltmore Tickets directly from us - in advance or once you arrive. We are located only 1.5 miles from the entrance to the Estate - about a 5 minute drive!
Add a trolley tour of Asheville to your stay at Oakland Cottage - have tickets in your room upon arrival, or purchase them there after you arrive.
