About

Secluded historic adobe pueblo-style compound in downtown Santa Fe! This 154+ yr old enchanting Old Santa Fe estate is tastefully preserved and boasts private courtyards, large shade trees, an authentic Indian horno oven, 19 comfortable guest rooms, free parking ($35 value) and an abundance of "True Santa Fe Romance". Excellent downtown location- walk to plaza, Canyon Rd, Rail yard, shopping, restaurants, museums, etc. Warm, welcoming, pofessional staff- celebrating 30+ yrs of award winning service and serving our famous "Pueblo Breakfast Tamale"! Guest Reviews state: "We have been visiting Santa Fe two or more times a year for the past thirty years and have stayed in almost every hotel, motel, and B&B near the Plaza and a few on Cerrillos Road. In the past few years, we finally discovered Pueblo Bonito with it's charming grounds, rooms, and owners, and have stayed in no other location since. The rooms and the breakfast are excellent and make for a relaxing experience that bears repeating. This beautiful B&B provides everything that you need for a restful get away, is within a short walking distance to the Plaza, and is equally convenient to the shops and restaurants in the Guadalupe area. We also appreciate the cleanliness and great service provided by the housekeeping staff. Truly a great experience and a great value" (bedandbreakfast review 2/14)

Home away from home

I will return to Pueblo Bonito. The beautiful Pueblo was unlike any place I've ever stayed. It was cozy quiet atmosphere. The owners were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was exceptional. I'm still craving their homemade green chili stew and tamales.

Lovely stay

5 on June 10, 2016

Had a wonderful long weekend in Santa Fe. So glad we chose Pueblo Bonita and how neat that it is family owned and operated. Such wonderful service from the moment we checked in to the time we left. Great room and delicious breakfasts! It also was a super convenient location - we literally parked our car at the B & B and walked everywhere we wanted to go, all over old town Santa Fe the whole weekend. Would definitely recommend!

Pueblo Bonito Bed & Breakfast, Santa Fe, NM

4.8 on April 15, 2016

We spent time in Santa Fe in March, 2016. We enjoyed the Pueblo Bonita very much. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The property is located in a great place to start a walking tour to get to the Plaza. We enjoyed visiting Santa Fe for that reason. The room we had was comfortable and very clean. We felt at home and it was a quiet spot. We would highly recommend a stay here. ¿¿¿¿¿¿

Great Value and Close to Everything

4.6 on October 30, 2015

October is the perfect time to visit Santa Fe. No crowds and nice weather. We stayed at the Inn four nights and it was comfortable, quiet and a short walk to the Plaza. There were tamales for breakfast and a big parking lot which is hard to find. The Innkeepers are very helpful. I would stay there again for sure! Marcia G. San Diego

Excellent service - love the tamales.

We recently enjoyed a 3 day stay at Pueblo Bonito. The staff was very welcoming - very helpful in directing us to local attractions. The rooms were very clean and authentically decorated. The breakfasts were delicious - best tamales I've ever had. The location was great - within walking distance of the plaza. I would recommend it for anyone wanting to have a complete Santa Fe experience.

Innkeeper Response

Excellent Choice- Perfectly Santa Fe!

5 on September 23, 2015

We were so pleasantly surprised by this quaint, historic adobe property. The location was excellent- walk anywhere in downtown. Our rooms was charming as we are encased by 2 ft thick adobe walls, the ceiling were natural wood beams, other historic elements were found within the structure inside and out.Our in-room bath even had viga ceilings, hand formed nicho vanity and mosaic tiled tub- so cute! The whole property was so indicative of local historic culture and flavor of Santa Fe- we really loved everything. The tamales for breakfast were an excellent representation of the area cuisine too. I can't recommend this sweet b&b highly enough- definitely "one of a kind" authentic experience. We'll certain return again and again.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of our inn, services, location and property! We're thrilled you enjoyed yourself and even more thrilled that you appreciated the authenticity of our property, its history and elements which make it stand out from any other downtown Santa Fe lodging. Our property was originally built in 1860. Retained on our property are all the original adobe walls (2+ ft. thick!) encasing the home, stables and servants quarters as well as the original horno (Native American bread oven) used to bake bread back in the 1800's! After NM became a state in 1912, the property changed hands and was then converted into apartments. This conversion has serve our purposes well over the past 30 years when we started our b&b (we are the original innkeepers- says something about our commitment, quality of service and product- don't you think!). We have painstakingly made improvements, repairs and renovations over the years to retain the cherished historic elements which remain intact and in pristine condition. These distinguishing historic elements make us stand out in creating an overall accurate, historic Old Santa Fe lodging experience for our guests. We are so appreciative that you enjoyed our efforts! Please, come back anytime as we'd love to host you on your return visit to our unique city- Santa Fe!

Great location but slightly disappointing stay

2.8 on July 29, 2015

Excellent location, easy to walk around downtown from the inn. Breakfast was continental style, not made to order. Room was a good size with a little kitchenette and fireplace. Bathroom would benefit from a good old fashioned scrub with Clorox (wasn't very clean). Cute outdoor area with lots of birds (so many in fact that I got pooped on walking to my room!).

Fresh and hand made from a local family recipe -traditional New Mexican Red Chili Pork Tamales! Moderately spicy, yet generously portioned, red chili seasoned pulled pork is tastily encased with moist mildly flavored corn meal and other seasonings. A major reason our guests return year after year! Our Breakfast Tamales are literally THE BEST in the state of New Mexico- hands down! (guest review- Julie Thomas Holbrook, AZ.)
