Melody has tried to refurbished and re-appoint the home with all the warmth of an historic Hacienda; from the covered portico, to the kiva warmed sitting room and brick-covered dining room . . . a sense of peace and well being is captured within our two-foot adobe walls. La Hacienda Grande is centrally located in the New Mexico's culturally rich Rio Grande Valley, midway between Santa Fe and Albuquerque off Interstate-25. Albuquerque is only 18 miles south, Santa Fe 45 miles north. We are central to all the most popular day trips in every direction. Especially for those who hate to constantly pack-up and move everyday, our location is ideal. Why stay at a hotel in the city when you can enjoy the spacious bed and breakfast accommodations of our historic hacienda?

Nearest major city: Albequerque, NM (7 miles)
Directions to property:
From Albuquerque or I40/125 or the Airport (Sun Port) take I 25 North towards Santa Fe to Exit 242 (the second Bernalillo exit). At the exit light turn left (West) go to the third light (SR 313, Camino del Pubelo; (Walgreens on the corner) and turn right (North) and go 6/10 of a mile to just past the Country Store (on the right) and the Montoya Meadows sign (on the left). Look for our wall sign on the left and turn left onto Barros Rd. Go straight to the end of that country lane and you are on Hacienda property. Come to the RED front door and ring the doorbell we'll be right there.

Cancellations:
CANCELLATIONS made 10 or more days prior to arrival will receive a refund less a $25 processing fee. CANCELLATIONS 9 days or less will be credited with a gift certificate toward a future visit and the certificate is good for 6 months and can be transfered. If CANCELLATIONS are made on the reservation date the deposit will not be refunded (i.e. you arrive and do not wish to stay, call same day and can not make it, no show). CANCELLATIONS that are made on the same day you arrive (i.e. you have made a 3 day reservation and you cancel 2 of those days) will be charged $50.00 for each day canceled. CANCELLATIONS for Holiday periods require 45 days cancellation notice. If it is 44 or less you will be credited with a gift certificate toward a future visit and the certificate is good for 6 months. No gift certificates or cupons may be used on Holidays. Balloon Festival is a 3 day minimum reservation requirement unless the Hacienda has a 1 or a 2 day slot open. For CANCELLATIONS made at Balloon Fiesta 60 days is required and at 59 days or less no refund will be given and no gift certificates will be issued. No gift certificates or cupons may be used during Balloon Festival.
