On the same island as Atlantic City, Come Wright Inn is located in the beautiful historic city of Ventnor, located just a few blocks from the Atlantic City, New jersey border, up beach from Margate and Longport, and is less than two blocks from the ocean. Come Wright Inn is a charming turn-of-the-century four story Victorian home converted into a six bedroom Bed and Breakfast, remodeled to retain the reflection and elegance of its era, We offer early morning risers coffee or tea for them to take along as the stroll the ocean's edge or take up to their rooms as they read the morning paper. At 9 AM a four course gourmet breakfast will be awaiting your arrival. There are many fine restaurants to go to for your dinner hour as well as day activities in which to participate such as shopping at the nearby Tanger Outlets, tennis courts just a few blocks away, the boardwalk on which to ride bikes or walk or jog. Of course, the waves are always calling for you to come down to the ocean and play. The nightlife of Atlantic City has great concerts, nightclubs to dance the night away as well as the casino atmosphere. Lest we forget, there is always the Steel Pier for fun with rides and games and the longest boardwalk on which to stroll or just to sit and "people watch."

Stayed 3 nights. Steep stairs to enter and narrow steep stairs to access rooms. Inn keepers very pleasant and helpful. Do not recommend this inn if visitor has any mobility problems.
We were so sorry to find out that this particular guest had given us a lower than our average review. We had done everything we possibly could to make their stay enjoyable even after forewarning them through several emails and phone conversations that a four story Victorian home may not be the right place to come when a person has mobility problems and needs to use a walker.

This is not a fancy-pants B&B. It is not over decorated. It IS like spending a night at Grandma's house where you will find a cool old house set up comfortably and very inviting. While Steve and Dianne do not look like Grandmom and Grandpop, they are just as good at making you feel comfortable and welcome. And breakfast? Well, Grandmom used to give us oatmeal. Fortunately, the Wrights have greatly improved upon this! My favorite was the coffee. Their place is an easy walk to the beach and Boardwalk, which we did after enjoying a dinner at a local restaurant.

Come Wright Inn is not an over-the-top, over decorated Inn. It is like what Grandma's house would look like if she didn't have grandchildren running around! It's a lovely place to spend some time. It is a block or so from the ocean and boardwalk and just far enough away from Atlantic City. We had French Toast with berries and cream and sausage for breakfast. The coffee was great! Hospitality appears to be a gift that Steve and Dianne have, not a just a job that they do.

My boyfriend and I went there to celebrate our two year anniversary. We ordered the romantic package. It was set up so nicely. When we went down for breakfast it was also set up very nicely. They definitely made our anniversary very special. I would definitely return. Thank you souch for creating a wonderful memory for us.
How thoughtful of you to write a review for us! We certainly enjoyed having you and do hope that you come back again soon especially since the Spring weather encourages a walk on the boards or beach before or after breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay, the B&B was nice, pleasant and inviting, and in a great location close to everything, thank you Steve and Dianne for making it a great stay and of course the breakfast was an awesome touch! Highly recommend this B&B!
We were delighted to receive such a wonderful review but were surprised that when reading it, we were given a rating of 3 out of 5. Because our other reviews are mostly rated in the 4-5 category, we do hope this review rate does not bring down our average rating. We are very grateful that this guest will highly recommend our Inn and do hope they will come. again.

Our hostess, Ondrea, was outstanding and made us feel welcome and very comfortable. She was very pleasant and accommodating.
Dianne's favorite is comprised of a bedroom with a kingsize bed, a sitting room that could convert into an extra bedroom with two twins or kingsize beds , a full private bathroom with clawfoot tub/shower and a sitting area. This suite is secluded from other guests. It is located on the third floor.
This suite consists of two with one having a kingsize bed and the other being a sitting room which has a trundle bed that can be converted to a king or two twins. There is a full bathroom between the rooms. From the second bedroom you have access to the private deck where you can view the ocean. There is a TV with cable On Demand. This is Steve's favorite suite because of the outside deck The deck can be used for those who smoke.
This is one of the larger rooms of the Inn and has a queen size bed and a private bathroom with a sitting area that overlooks the Inn's garden.
This newly renovated room now includes a queen size bed with a PRIVATE bathroom within the room with a tub/shower. This bathroom was once the Master bathroom of the home. This room overlooks the garden and is decorated with flowers and butterflies..

Low fat , Restrictive , Vegetarian Breakfast Meats are served separately from the main entree
Spinach Artichoke Frittata
Because we are sensitive to dietary needs, we do not include breakfast meats in our entrees but rather serve them on the side. This is not economical for us but we strive for excellence in presentation as well as taste and for the needs of our guests. We also serve soy meats if that is preferable. Only fresh baby spinach and hearts of artichoke are used with this delicious egg dish.
