We highly recommend this wonderful inn. The innkeepers were extremely helpful and friendly, breakfasts were delicious, and the facility was warm and comfortable. Sunset sitting on the gazebo with a glass of wine was perfect.

Innkeeper Response

Thank you for the review. Even though it was not positive, it is always helpful to hear from guests. It also affords me an opportunity to explain. You were correct about the filter. It has since been changed. It is unfortunate that it rained while you were here, but state bed & breakfast regulations do not allow us to provide coffee makers in the rooms making it necessary for the guests in the Roanoke Room to come into the house for morning coffee. We supply shampoo and other amenities upon request. I will put a sign in the rooms making that offer known to future guests. As far as breakfast is concerned, the English muffins and the sausage links were the only items that came prepackaged. the links were not precooked, just packaged. All else is made fresh daily. Waffles are made one at a time and more were available to you. I am sorry you were disappointed. None of this was made known to us during your stay. I would have been happy to have made things right for you or offered you a discount to compensate you for your disappointment. We hope you will accept our invitation to visit us in the future at no charge. We value your business.
