A charming inn nestled in the historic district of one of the most popular destinations at the shore. Built in 1882, the inn is beautifully appointed and will make you feel immediately at home. A full breakfast is prepared daily by the innkeepers and served in their cozy breakfast room. Each of the five guest rooms have private baths and are equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans, and cable TV. There is wireless internet and an extensive library for the guests to enjoy. Off-street parking for all guests is available. The inn is located close to town, beaches and shopping. The

We attended a family wedding nearby so we felt unfortunate to have so little time at the inn. Paul and Gail are wonderful hosts and the property is beautiful. We couldn't even enjoy breakfast because of the planned wedding brunch but it looked great. We'll be back as our daughters in-laws live nearby.

We have stayed at the inn many times and love it. Gail & Paul are gracious hosts and the accomodations are cozy and comfortable. The second floor porch is a special treat.

The B&B decor was very eclectic which added to its charm. The breakfasts were good but disappointing as they were not gourmet as I have had in other B&B's. The room itself was spacious. My biggest disappointment was in the interaction with the hosts or lack thereof. Upon arrival, we were rushed through the check-in process as if the owner had other things he needed to be doing. Other than being served breakfast by the other owner there was no interaction at all. I have stayed at plenty of other B&B's in which the owners are happy to have guests, engage in conversation, share information about the area and things to do, and seem to enjoy people in general. I did not get a welcoming feeling at this B&B. If you are looking for a warm and welcoming stay and not a hotel-type stay than this is not the B&B for you.

The Nathaniel Morris Inn is a lovely home away from home. The owner, Gail, serves a wonderful breakfast and is very gracious. While the The Inn is beautiful, it is next to a high traffic road...so the only negative aspect of staying here was from the noise, that comes with heavy traffic, while sitting on the balcony during the day. However, there was no noise while sleeping with the airconditioner on. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

It was kind of a surprise, as did not expect such a nice place, full of old stuff, and very attractive inclusive the fact that you had to claim some steps to go to bed, awsome

We always enjoy our stays at the Nathaniel Morris. Gail never fails to provide a warm, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. A perfect getaway from all the hustle and bustle of everyday living. We're already looking forward to planning another visit.

My wife and I stayed at the Inn for the third time a couple of weeks ago and once again had a relaxing and pleasant experience. Gail is a fine innkeeper that respects your privacy while accommodating our every request. We highly recommend the Nathaniel Morris Inn if you're looking for a reasonably priced, clean and comfortable place to spend a few days at the beautiful Jersey Shore.

I would highly recommend the Nathaniel Morris Inn for anyone who is considering staying in the area. The room was clean and lovely (and had a 2nd story porch with a hammock right outside!) and Gail, the innkeeper, was very nice. The breakfast was delicious as well.

The Nathaniel Morris Inn is a lovely Victorian in the Jersey shore town of Manasquan. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the host is friendly and attentive. There is lots to do in the vicinity - beach, antiquing, bike riding, etc. and the main street of Manasquan itself has great shopping along with the adjacent town of Point Pleasant along Arnold Ave. Our family goes there every year and looks forward to it. A great lodging for the money and better than a motel atmosphere!
