First B&B experience & it was great.

4.6 on March 18, 2015

Chimney Hill is a beautiful B&B! The decor in the rooms is very tasteful. The alpacas are funny & cute creatures! The hunt room, where we stayed was very clean & pretty! The breakfast wasnt bad but it would have been nice to know if there was a selection or if that was the only item available. The owner was very pleasant & helpful! He made the stay very nice :-) Overall great experience!

relaxing but not all I expected

3.4 on March 13, 2015

Beautiful but pricey if you don't have a living social esp since it needs a bit of maintenance here and there. I really also don't expect to have to ask for basics that are included such as the robes, coffee, breakfast and everything to work like the entire jacuzzi not just part. But overall good weekend and innkeeper did offer to credit us for one night due to the circumstances. ...yet to be seen. Alpacas cute. Very clean. Innkeeper definitely overwhelmed but he was very nice.

Great Birthday Weekend!

4.4 on March 09, 2015

My husband and I purchased a Living Social deal that included a stay at the Chimney Hill Estate Inn. We had a lovely Barn Suite, which was spacious and lovely with a nice gas fire place. The bed was very comfortable. One of the key attractions was the alpacas farm. We were given two bags of feed and were able to feed them. They were adorable and it was a nice cap to the weekend. The owner was very friendly, as were the rest of the staff. We had a great time!

Phenomenal Getaway!

This was my first B&B experience and it was marvelous. We chose this B&B for the alpacas but stayed for the people. We had a magical time and met so many neat people during their evening welcome receptions. I've already made reservations to return!

Delightful Alpaca Farm

Beautiful property and the staff went out of their way to accomodate all my requests.

Perfect weekend away

Even with snow on the ground and colder temperatures that made appreciating the walking areas on and around the property, our stay was fantastic. The owner and staff were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The rooms were nice though some of the furniture wasn't the most comfortable. The Jacuzzi branded shower and tub in our room helped to alleviate any stress while the beautiful estate house itself provided a wonderfully decorated and inviting atmosphere to both lounge and interact in. We would absolutely go again.

Definitely Recommend!

Quaint farm/inn. The alpacas added their own charm to our stay. Downtown Lambertville is a short drive and there is plenty to see and do. If you like wineries, there are many to choose from. The staff was friendly and the service was exceptional.

An awesome little getaway.

Chimney Hill Estate Inn was an awesome little getaway. They have fireplaces everywhere. The Alpacas are really fun to feed and the people are more than accommodating and friendly. The breakfast tasted incredible. I would highly recommend Chimney Hill to anyone looking to stay.

Romantic B&B and Alpaca Farm

3.8 on February 20, 2015

We stayed at Chimney Hill on Valentine's Day in Barn Suite #3 because it looked beautiful, spacious but cozy, and had the double-sided fireplace and corner jacuzzi tub for two. The bed being up in the loft was really neat as well. This room was unlike any other I have ever been in. It was because of this suite as well as getting to feed alpacas that we chose this as our little getaway for V-Day. Rich, the innkeeper, was really friendly and laid back upon our check-in, telling us right away he was there to make sure we were happy. Later, when we came for the "S'mores and wine" social hour in the pretty Stone Room, he enthusiastically shared stories on the history of the alpacas, and the B&B itself. He was informative and entertaining. Deb was also nice and showed us how to eat these special S'mores (marshmallows with chocolate liquor!) Feeding the alpacas was super fun. They are so cute; 7 males I think came out to eat and greet us. I loved them! We had a lovely dinner at Hamilton's Grille Room in the town of Lambertville and drinks at The Boathouse, before returning to our cozy room where we enjoyed the jacuzzi. The only thing missing were the bathrobes. We did not see those. One more little thing -- the TV is small and outdated, but it is meant to fit in the nook above the fireplace I guess, but we wished there was a DVD player, or a second TV up in the bedroom loft to watch in bed. But we had a cozy stay and kept warm while it snowed. Breakfast was a usual breakfast -- that morning was blueberry pancakes and bacon. And a hot fruit cobbler to start. You could sit with others if you wanted, but there were enough tables for two, if you wanted to be alone. Overall it was a lovely way to spend Valentine's Day. The morning we checked out was one of the coldest in NJ in years. Zero degrees and 50mph winds or something, and feeding the alpacas was hard in the biting cold, but I just had to do it one last time! Thanks for a great stay, we won't soon forget it!!

The Only Inn You want to Visit!

5 on February 18, 2015

For Valentine's Day, my fiancee and I visited Chimney Hill Estate Inn. NEVER have I seen a place quite like it. Rich, the innkeeper, is an amazingly friendly, affable, friendly and knowledgeable man. He makes you feel like you're the only guest there and that it is your home as well as his. Our room (Barn Suite #3) was an incredible 2 story, spacious, antique filled suite with a double jacuzzi, double fireplace, and all the amenities of home. The bed was even super comfortable! We walked around the grounds and saw the wonderful alpacas that lived there and even got a chance to feed them. The location is perfect because it's just a hop across the bridge to New Hope where we had dinner and then returned to our super romantic suite. Breakfast was amazing! Chimney Hill doesn't skimp at all. And all the folks that work there are so friendly, it's just like a home away from home. We can't wait to go back and plan to do so next month. We also looked through some brochures because they do weddings there by a company by Deborah, who's as beautiful as she is talented. The weddings looked amazing and she is a wonderful person. We give this in our highest rating in everything because it's true. Leslie Fleisher and Jim Holleran
