The Dowds' Country Inn is a unique, country style Bed and Breakfast located in beautiful Lyme, NH. The Inn is owned and operated by the Dowd family and is a home away from home for each and every guest that walks through its doors. We have twenty individually decorated rooms, each with their own unique design and a bit of history. Come for a weekend or for a week! We welcome your visit!

Minimum Stay: Weekends we typically have a 2 night minimum.

Deposit Amount Required: The greater of 50% of the total reservation or one nights stay.

Cancellations: Our standard policies for cancellation are 14 days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel within the 14 day period you will forfeit your deposit. Exceptions: During peak foliage season, holidays, and special event weekends, the cancellation policy changes to 30 days prior to your arrival date. Guests cancelling within this period will lose their deposit and may be required to pay the remaining amount of their entire stay if the room is unable to be resold. All cancellations have a $25 processing fee. Dartmouth Graduation: The cancellation period for Dartmouth graduation is increased to six months. When your reservation is made a 50% deposit will be taken. At the 1st of the year of the graduation the remaining balance for your stay will be due. If you cancel within the six months you will not be refunded your deposit or the balance paid on the room.
