Just beyond the famous Honeymoon Bridge in Jackson, you will find the Village House, a 150 year old colonial inn with wrap round porch, located on 5 acres where the Wild Cat and Ellis Rivers meet. The inn offers visitors a range of accommodations from traditional guest rooms to self catering apartments and Jacuzzi suites. All you can eat Continental breakfast and afternoon refreshments served daily, outdoor hot tub, chiminea and fire pit, free Wi-Fi, bbq facilities, private river frontage with pebble beach and swimming hole. Guests staying with us enjoy the pleasures of a quiet mountain getaway, whilst being only a short walk from a great choice of restaurants, shops and pubs in the village. In summer time hike, bike, or drive through the Whites, and then relax with a refreshing drink on our porch. Cool off in our outdoor pool, or take a stroll down to our private river beach for a dip. Then make some s'mores on our fire pit! In winter cross country ski trails can be accessed on property, 5 mountains for downhill skiing within 5-30 minutes drive, sleigh rides and skating nearby. At the end of a busy day on the slopes, toast your toes by the stove in the lounge, while enjoying English afternoon tea. Families with children and pets welcome.

We enjoy our stays at the Village House. The rooms are clean and nicely appointed and a very good value for Jackson, NH. Also like very much the proprietor, John, who is helpful, interesting to talk to, and offers good advice regarding local points of interest. We are not a couple who usually enjoys B and B's but we make an exception for The Village House. Highly recommend a stay here.

John the owner greeted us and offered to help us carry in our bags. They had received a surprise snow storm but the place was cleared and ready. Our room had 3 dog beds waiting and four dog bowls. They took into accout that we had 3 dogs and went to the trouble of making sure there were beds and bowls for each.
