We arrived in darkness and woke up the next morning to the most spectacular view from our room balcony, and sumptuous breakfast that included a few hours of stimulating conversation. Throughout our three day stay, Bill and Sheila pampered us and paid careful attention to our dietary needs, too. The Turquoise room shrunk in size a bit with the addition of an extra single bed but was clean and comfortable, as was the newly renovated bath. Sheila was also kind enough to arrange a wonderful afternoon at a nearby artist's studio where we made glass crafts, and because we had come up by bus, she was our personal chauffeur and companion as we visited local antique galleries and lovely restaurants. She also read our Tarot cards! We had a marvelous three day stay and look forward to returning.
We miss you both already. Your visit was most refreshing and uplifting. The time at the glass studio was fun and what you each made was amazing. Next time (plan ahead) we will get you into one of the suites with room for art and massage. Thank you for writing a review and for being such lovely guests.

I was visiting my son at a camp in the area and decided to try Coppertoppe. The couple who run the inn are very accommodating and will make every effort to have you feel at home. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with an assortment of almost anything you would want. The room had a beautiful view and was very comfortable. A very pleasant place to stay.

The rooms are well-appointed and immaculate, the common areas comfortable and bright, and the view of the lake is picture-perfect. Sheila and Bill are great hosts--helpful, informative and friendly but never intrusive. Breakfasts were fabulous and generous enough to satisfy a hungry lumberjack, with plenty of options including fresh fruit and some veggies. (A recommendation: Insist on having the gluten-free waffles.) And if you're looking for a B&B where your pet will be not only tolerated, but welcomed like a member of the family, Coppertoppe is for you. Our chihuahua gives it 5 wags--best vacation ever!

This is by far a warm and very relaxing place to stay. It is one of the best B & B's we have stayed out. It is just like going home that is how nice it is. Shelia and Bill go far beyond what one would expect. Talk about pet friendly they treated Bob our little cocker like family. So if you are traveling and want a place with great food, view and atmosphere then you must try Coppertoppe. You will not be disappointed, we can't wait to go back.
Well, it's hard not to love a sweetie like Bob, especially when he comes with such nice people. Thanks for posting a review and sharing about your experience. We love how the nicest people in the world come and visit. We hope to see you again soon.

Spent a very nice two days (rainy but warm) with our puppy there who loved the woods and pond. Our hosts we're friendly but not obtrusive and great sources of dining recommendations.
Thank YOU for sharing your puppy with us. It was so much fun to watch you all play and relax. We do have some terrific restaurants in the area and are glad you had good experiences. Really, the more specific you are about what you like, the easier it is to point you in the right direction.

I have stayed at other bed and breakfasts, but had never had anyone ask me for personal preferences from what I like and don't like to eat and drink, to the kind and amount of pillows I prefer on my bed. Coppertoppe Inn and Retreat is definitely a place to go!!! Shelia and Bill are very caring people who do their best to provide you with the kind of relaxing stay that you dream about. The view from the Garnet room was breath taking! When we asked where would be good places to eat dinner or where good hiking trails were Shelia and Bill were very knowledgeable and enjoyed sharing great places. I would highly recommend a stay at the Coppertoppe Inn and Retreat. So whether you need a get away or know of someone who does, do yourself and them a great favor and take a trip to Coppertoppe Inn I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed!!! Rene.
Thank you for writing with such detail and enthusiasm. You know we had fun with you and it is great when guests appreciate the wonders of nature and fun activities around Newfound Lake. Wish you could be here this week with the lilacs and irises in bloom. The garden smells so sweet and all the plants are growing like crazy. We will post pictures soon.
