We had a wonderful weekend getaway with our 2 dogs. Sheila and Bill went above and beyond in accommodating us and our dogs. They made incredible breakfasts that were specifically designed to our taste and gluten allergy. The views are spectacular and Bill made sure the hot tub was at a perfect temperature for us to enjoy while it was snowing. Rowley and Griffey had the run of the Inn, their own beds, water bowls and lots of people to play with. Sheila also made special treats for them to enjoy. Overall, a wonderful experience and can't wait to return.
Thank you for posting a review on this site. Your comments are very much appreciated. We had so much fun with you and your dogs, we really look forward to seeing you again in warmer weather. Take care and enjoy the spring season.

I've been to the Coppertoppe five times and LOVE IT! Bill and Sheila are like family and I couldn't ask for a better get-a-way.
Thank you for taking time to post another review. We appreciate your feedback and the fun we share. You also have the nicest friends! Thanks for sharing them with us, too.

My husband and I, along with our dog, enjoyed what we hope to be the first of many stays at Coppertoppe in January 2015. Sheila and Bill were so great; before we arrived Sheila spent a while getting to know all about us and our preferences, they gave us fantastic homemade breakfast meals that were healthy, full of flavor and just perfect for our vegetarian diet (there were also many great treats for our non-vegetarian dog!). They are just lovely people and we had great conversations all throughout our stay. We felt perfectly at home! The room itself was very roomy and comfortable. Sheila and Bill have put a lot of thought into their property and operations to be environmentally-sensitive, which we appreciate personally and professionally. There didn't seem to be a bad view, no matter where we were, and looking out on the near-frozen Newfound Lake during breakfast was especially lovely. All around, a great stay and we've finally found the qualities we've been looking for in a New England vacation spot - we look forward to making Coppertoppe a regular destination!
Thank you for taking time from your busy schedule to post a review. It warms our hearts, and with temps below zero that is quite a treat. It was good that you experienced a variety of weather and enjoyed the views in sunshine as well as winter velvet. We look forward to your next visit!

Attention to Detail is a concept that Bill and Sheila, proprietors, take very seriously. When I filled out the questionnaire before my stay, I figured that something would be missed. But everything was just perfect, from the carrot treats for my dogs, to the third pillow on my bed. The breakfast was so good and so substantial that I didn't even feel the need for lunch until late afternoon! The room had the most wonderful view of a portion of Newfound Lake - Sheila had mentioned that I would need to pull the drapes because the morning sun would be bright, but I chose to keep the drapes open and was wonderfully greeted by a joyous sun my first morning there. This inn had everything I wanted, and things I didn't even know I wanted - a peaceful stay! I am very content! Brenda
Brenda, it was a joy to share part of the holidays with you and your darling dogs. Your stories were fascinating and your wisdom is priceless. Thank you for taking time to post a review. We hope you will come visit in summer when the pups can enjoy our giant lawn and rolling in clean, safe grass with no pesticides or chemicals. Take care and please stay in touch.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Amethyst suite over the weekend (Friday night- Sunday morning) and we could not have been more pleased with our stay!! Bill and Sheila are absolutely wonderful! They are kind, accommodating, and very easy-going. They had wonderful advice about the surrounding towns, and gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and hiking spots. We had a wonderful time talking to them over breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday morning. They were incredibly conscious about our food preferences, and the house was stocked full of snacks that were available day and night. The house itself is wonderful- cozy, inviting, and absolutely pristine. Our room was fabulous- I couldn't find something to complain about even if I wanted to. We went in mid-December, and the view from the house was incredible- I'm sure it's even more amazing in the summer and fall. The nearby towns have plenty to offer as well. Hiking spots, scenic areas, quaint shops, and some great eateries. Do be conscious of the driveway- it is like a short dirt road and in the winter/spring it may be a bit slippery. They maintain the road very well, but it's just something to consider if you are traveling in the colder months and your car doesn't have four wheel drive. Overall it was an excellent experience, and worth every penny! We are very excited to go back!!
It warms our hearts to see people really relax and enjoy a good night's sleep, some beautiful nature adventures and the charms of New Hampshire's small towns. Thank you for writing in detail and for mentioning our long driveway. We would not have the fabulous views if we were not up on a ridge and the gravel road/driveway is part of the adventure. When there is a big storm, we welcome reservation changes without any fees. We'd rather have a postponement than an unhappy cancellation. Thanks again for taking time to post a review. We will enjoy seeing you again in another season.

A huge thank you to Bill and Sheila. Coppertoppe Inn provided my husband and I with a relaxing, romantic, and quiet getaway. They made every attempt to go above and beyond by providing us with a questionnaire prior to our visit. They then took every care to make sure we were happy and enjoyed our stay. The food was amazing and there were always snacks. The room surpassed our expectations; cleanliness, view, amenities - they had it all! Bill and Sheila were very accommodating to our dog also and took their time to get to know our "baby". We will surely be back to enjoy another stay with them.
We are so glad you had a nice time and we were able to fulfill your vision for a romantic getaway. It is helpful when guests tell us in advance what they really like so we can plan and shop effectively. As the character said in the Jerry Maguire movie, "Help me to help you!" Thanks for being nice guests and bringing your sweet baby. We had fun, too.

My husband, our pup, and I were lucky enough to stumble upon Coppertoppe Inn when looking for a pet friendly place to stay in New Hampshire and are so glad that we did! Bill and Sheila are such wonderful hosts and go out of their way to make you feel at home (minus the chores and add an amazingly beautiful view). The Amethyst room was a perfect size for the three of us, was super clean, and had great amenities. Sheila was very accommodating of my food intolerances, and put together a super delicious breakfast both mornings we were there. Overall, a fabulous location, yummy food, and great hosts. We can't wait to come back soon :)
Aw, you are so sweet. Food intolerances are no trouble as we are used to them. We enjoyed your enjoyment! Keep bringing the cute pup! We will always be happy to see you. Have a lovely holiday season.

There is no better place to escape and relax than Coppertoppe. Sheila & Bill make it amazing! They have included so many thoughtful details... and the food! Super delicious, and they accommodate any request. This was our second stay, and we're planning to make it a yearly tradition for sure! Going there feels like coming home, only better.
Thank you for writing. One of the nice things about hosting a bed and breakfast is that it IS our home and nice guests sometimes become like extended family. It gives us joy to pamper our guests and see you relax and enjoy your serenity. We are happy and proud to be one of your yearly traditions!

A unique place to stay with breathtaking views, delicious breakfasts and wonderful hosts. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean with sliding glass doors to a private balcony overlooking the mountains and Newfound Lake. Our dog was treated just like one of the guests.
