Our Inn is the historic Sullivan/Sleeper house, originally built in 1809. It features 9 guest rooms each beautifully decorated with antiques and fine linens. Seven of the rooms have working fireplaces that operate during the winter months. We offer complimentary coffee and tea, luxurious bath robes in your room and a full breakfast each morning. Wake up to Belgian Waffles, Egg Souffle and a fresh fruit and muffin accompaniment. After breakfast, you can explore charming downtown Exeter, New Hampshire with the American Independence Museum, quaint shops and plenty of fine dining. We are also just a short drive from Hampton Beach, the outlets at Kittery, Maine and a quick Amtrak ride from Boston. Come snuggle up at the Inn By The Bandstand and relax with us!

Directions to property:
From Interstate 95: Take exit 2 BEFORE the toll booth (route 101 west). Take route 101 west for about 6 miles to exit 11 (Route 108 south). Off the exit ramp turn left (south) on Route 108 for approximately 1 1/2 miles and you will come to a "T" intersection with a light (High Street). Turn right and drive to the center of Exeter (3 blocks). You will see the bandstand on your left with the Inn by the Bandstand on the corner. Parking is available at the rear of the inn (accessed via the town municipal parking lot, then into the Town employees parking lot) or from April – October you may park in the public parking at the front of the Inn. (NOTE: parking in front of the Inn and certain areas of the Municipal lot is BANNED during the winter months: November through March!)

Follow airport signs to Interstate 101, take 101 East 30 miles to exit 11. (Exeter/Stratham)At the bottom of the ramp, turn right onto Portsmouth Avenue. Continue 2 miles to the last light at the T-Intersection and turn right onto Water Street. Gently curve around a cross the Exeter River bridge to the center of town. The bandstand will be on your left and the Inn By the Bandstand will be directly to the left of the bandstand. It is a large Yellow house with green shutters. Note that Parking is available to the rear of the Inn, through the town office parking lot.
